Coca Cola Advert

"Holidays are coming, holidays are coming, holidays are coming, holidays are coming, holidays are coming"

Its the Coca Cola Christmas Advert, and the proper one, not with the old woman in some town thing, this is the Lorry one.

When Dya think it'll be shown? Or has it already?
When this starts being on TV ya just know its christmas, and really gets me into the spirit!

P.S Sorry if this is in the wrong section i did look to see if there was an advert section but couldn't find one...

Haven't seen it yet, but look forward to it. I expect the M&S one will be those blinking girls running around in their knickers again.
I miss the Nicholas Lyndhurst WHS ones and going back even further the 'Do ave a Dubonet' ones from the 60's

yeh strange. Great feel good advert but I have always struggled to "associate" coke and xmas really apart form this advert! I know kids like drinking it but you hardly buy anyone coke as a present.

The Coca-Cola Company has always been consumer orientated and the opinions of you, our consumers, are very important to us. Our Christmas Campaign 2009 will be starting this Saturday, the 14th of Novemeber; You will be able to see the 'Holidays are Coming' campaign during 'X-Factor'!!

This is a response from Coca-Cola Great Britain (Laura Tomsett).

The Billboards are up already.

Shame, it was the Woolies advert that meant Xmas to me.

That advert annoys me every year, Holidays.. they're too damn politically correct to call it Christmas

Definately the best christmas advert ever. Not sure it makes me want to buy the coke more though.

Sorry, but the love for these ads escapes me.

Must be an age thing. If you are younger than 30, you grew up with them (I assume).

To the rest of us though, they mean nothing. Other than a saccharin piece of Americana.

I saw the new M&S xmas advert last night. Twiggy and Myleene are there, but only Noemie is in her knickers.

The IRN-BRU Snowman ad is way better than anything the Red Menace have ever come up with.

I don't like the new M&S one maybe it'll grow on me. The best was the Orient Express one

I love the Coke advert though I have "Holidays are coming" on my ipod but I've forced myself not to listen to it until I see the coke ad

I love that ad, christmas starts when that ad comes on, although every year it seems to come on earlier than the previous year. I haven't seen it yet, I get goosebumps every year when I see it for the first time.

The Coca Cola ad used to never start until the last week of November, and with everything turning Christmassy insanely early, it signalled the start of Christmas properly for me! In the last couple of years it has started as early as the 2nd week in November so it no longer has the same significance for me, as good an advert as it is...

The Guinness Christmas advert has overtaken it for me, and I've never seen it before December. I love it; it gives me chills. I don't know if it's shown outside of Ireland though.

The first play of the Coca-Cola Christmas Advert in 2009 will be during the 9:10pm ad break of tomorrow night's X Factor.
