New irritating error

When watching other channels about every 6 seconds the banner showing what you are watching/what is on next appears on the bottom of the screen. Anyone else getting this?

Look at your remote when it occurs is the red light flashing on the remote,if so it suggests a button on the remote is stuck down and thinks its been pressed

If not a power down at the main, leave it a few mins and then power up seems to cure glitches such as this

No problems here on my boxes that you are encountering

Don't forget that removing the batteries from the remote for more than 10 mins will result in the remote losing the TV codes and then you will need to re-entered them to get the Sky remote to operate your TV

This might be a remote control issue. Sometimes when they malfunction they will send out a particular button press signal every so often, which will make the box act strangely.

Try removing the batteries from the remote.

I do not think it can be a remote issue as it only happens on "other channels" when I go to any channel on the epg then there is no problem

Hi, as polite as I can be, as it's not happening to anyone else, what does that suggest...
