I really hope they don't turn Lucas into a "serial killer" of sorts, I know he didn't *technically* kill Trina but he didn't do anything to help her!

I hope that if he does indeed kill Owen, he gets his comeuppance soon after. Can't stand Lucas as a character anyway, but it's interesting to see the way they're playing him hide behind his religion.

Trina died by falling on a rake, The Cafe exploded and Bradley got a tiny scratch to his eye, etcetera. There is a reason Diederick is going....

By the way I know he never wrote the scripts, but he still accepted them as they were being filmed.

I don't want Owen to die either, this is really unexpected. But in the long run, this is going to be a really gripping storyline and it appears Lucas is going to be bumping off anyone who gets in his way, very much like Richard Hillman was like in Corrie.

I was believing this until I read the words "Daily Mirror". Now I'm not so sure

But that's mainly because I wanted Owen to kill Lucas. I think it's about time Owen showed that he hasn't really changed.

I have only started watched in last few months on and off depending on what storylines are covered in the episode. So I am assuming he was sacked because the quality of episodes had decreased? It is all a bit funny because now that he is leaving they can't stop praising him and saying how good it has been under his tenure (well they would say that, wouldn't they?) ! Personally I find it varies from episode to episode, some I have really enjoyed, others not some much, plus some issues of continuity sometimes...

Back to the spoiler: I guess this Lucas is getting more and more frightening, I was willing to believe a big part of the Trina incident was due to cowardice and stupidity but now I think he's just really evil. So sad for Owen, I though he deserved a chance for a fresh start after prison..

I mean seriously, bring owen back, set him up with his mum and everything, give the character even more depth than he had, and then what just make him a plot device and kill him off? is it just me or does bringing him back now seem like such a huge waste? im personally glad santer is going now because im getting tired at his lack of delivery on hyped up storylines.
