Alexandra Burke 2nd Single:Broken Heels

Hmm. Interesting. No beef with the song but I would have thought they would have went for one of the moe urban or ballad tracks seeing as they went for a pop one.

Oh thats why she was on the TV getting exposure, she has a single out... not anything to do with poor sick children then... and many on here thought the same as well, normally Simon does not go round telling people who he has given money to.

They should have gone with The Silence. It's an amazing song and a ballad would keep her album selling up to Christmas.

I am really pleased, it is a real grower, while I liked it straight away I preferred others and skipped to them, but this is the one I listen to 1st now love the album

Should have been The Silence IMO. Still a good song though, may chart highly, doubt it will shift many albums.

Broken Heels isn't great tbh. The Silence is imo, one of the only good songs on that album. I was quite disappointed with the album.

I had a dream last night that You Broke my Heart was going to be the next single Though I kind of like the song, I doubt it would ever be a single, but Broken Heels...? Not sure about that one either.

Don't get why they are so bent on marketing Alex as a pop singer with all these 80s throwbacks. Bad Boys was the same, and now Broken Heels...not bad songs, but definitely not my favourite from the album. I wish they had gone for something different this time, something to show that Alex is versatile, or to showcase her vocals (Silence), or even just to give her a more current and cooler edge (All not long). On the upside lots of fans and critics seem to love Broken Heels and given the success of Bad Boys I assume it will do well.

You're being extremely cynical. Alexandra's new single won't be out for a good few weeks yet, and by then most people will have forgotten that she was on the news.

I think he does, he gives money to dogs homes, he likes dogs more than people and has sworn to leave all his money to dogs.

YESSS. Yes yes yes. That's exactly what I wanted - this is perfect. Seriously this my second fave on the album. The Silence is good but it's a bit boring except for the chorus. And imagine how good the video will be!
