Lucy is not versatile

People keep saying she is, I just don't get it. I thought she really struggled in rock week, trying to be something she is not. Performance was really overrated, I thought she was awkward. She should stick to the ballads IMO

Agree/disagree?

I thought Lucie did better than anyone on rock week. I'm not a huge fan - I think she's ok but she definitely outsang everyone else last week. A friend said to me just now that she could do with going off and backpacking for a while to get a bit more worldliness then she could be a contender. I'd be inclined to agree with that.

I disagree. I've not been a fan of Lucie's in earlier shows yet after last week I find myself quite liking her. I loved her look and voice last week.

I think Lucy has a great voice and sounded great in rock week.
For me anyway she certainly is one of the remaining acts who deserves to be there.

I like Lucie singing ballads but since the live show i've actually enjoyed her uptempo songs more, she just seems to have fun on stage.

If any of them are lacking versatility it's John and Edward!

I'm not crazy about Lucie but the very beginning of her song on rock week (when it looks like she is on her mobile phone) is sang very well then it does drift off a bit but it was one of the better ones overall that week.

Maybe the song she will be singing will show that she is.

I can pick only one versatile artist from the finalists, that's just Ollie. Lucie has beautiful voice, but lacks range

But I support Danni's acts / Jamie (and secretly J&E)

I think she's been better at the two uptempos she's done than the two ballads.

How will I know was weak imo and last week I agree with the OP she was trying to be something she wasnt. She looked really uncomfortable. I think she is better at singing ballads. I think her best performance was in big band week.

Lucie and Joe are by far the most versatile singers there in fact they're the only ones who've gone really out of their comfort zone along with Lloyd ofcause but he can't sing very well

Let's face it, she's no less versatile than any of the others.

I don't think any of them are really versatile - well we haven't seen many examples from any of them that they can be versatile. I think you could call her versatile performance wise because she hasn't sang the same type of song every week - John and Edward, Danyl, Jamie, Olly, Joe, Stacey have all done more or less similar songs each week.

I thought her performance last week was a bit awkward but she sang the song better than I'd expected her too.

I really enjoyed her song this week.

I mean, ok, it wasnt the best ever, but she is coming on in leaps and bounds. The best thing for me, was that she seemed to be ENJOYING it and is actually trying out different things to see what she is capable of.

When the lives started, Stacey was my favourite of all the female singers. But she needs to move already - I hear this week, she is going to have a little dance and am really looking forward to that!

I think Lucie has moved forward, although she still has a way to go, whereas Stacey has stayed stagnant. But hopefully that will all change.

At the moment, Lucie is the one out of the two girls I would pick to win if I had to pick tomorrow!

She is ok on ballads but weak on up tempo songs, I don't have anything against her, but she does not handle anything other than full on praise very well.

I find watching her is like paint drying, same with Joe, they are just bland.

Could not disagree more OP. She has done something different every single week and totally pulled it off. If that's not versatility then please tell me what is.
