V+ to second TV with RF modulator - V+ HD

I have a Proception ProMod1 RF modulator:

I've been trying to use this to output the V+ box to a second TV.

I have the V+ box connected via HDMI to my main TV, then the RF modulator connected to the V+ box via scart lead from the video scart out.

I then have an aerial cable from the RF out socket on the RF modulator to my second TV.

I've tried changing the RF output channel on the V+ box, but still can't get a picture on the 2nd TV.

Can anyone help?

When the V+ is in HDMI, it disables the RF out and the TV scart. So changing the RF channel on the V+ will have no effect. If your connected to the modulator using the VCR scart then it should work.

As Ryrazzer says that should work fine on the VCR Scart.

A couple of additional thoughts

If you're using a scart to phono lead and the adaptor supplied with the modulator. make sure it's a Scart output lead not input lead, or switched to out rather than in if it has a switch (different pins).

Remember to tune the second tv in to the channel selected on the front of the modulator using the analogue tuner on the TV

If you have a Samsung V+ then you will get the full EPG out of the scart when using the HDMI as the primary output.
