Can i record off of sky box office on my v+ hd box

I was wondering because i want to get the boxing tomorrow and my dad is going out and wont be able to see it live...so i was wondering if v+ would let me record it .....or would it be encrypted or something?????

I think the v+ will let you record it but remember its pay perview so you will have to buy it first.

But it should record okay once you have splashed out.

As it does not appear in the EPG - only through the OD menus - I don't see how you can record it.

The only other option is to try and record it off the SCART output - but they may be disabled as its an OD event.

ok. i thought you couldnt. i take it you cant do then a manual recording....or am i being stupid?!!

i've never ordered anything of sky box office....it doesnt appear on a channel then....like 0 or something

As mentioned you might be able to use something else to record it from the scart output - although i have feeling that Sky PPV carries macrovision signal to prevent you recording it
