On TV XL service, not receiving all channels

Hi, I have 3 boxes in my house, 2 V+ and 1 V box. The first V+ box receives all of the XL package channels ok, but the second V+ and the V box can't get channel 108 BBC HD or 110 Living HD(maybe others, but noticed at least these 2 channels).
I have wasted a couple of hours talking to different people in the indian call centre, and seem to be going round in circles.
I've been promised a call back, and after 2nd call, problem would be fixed within 24hrs.
But surprise surprise,still not fixed.
Does someone in the know, know a solution.
Many Thanks

You need a V+ box for BBCHD and LivingHD - so you will not get it on the V box.

Try posting in the virginmedia support newsgroups - I've found it much quicker than their telephone help.

The message on the 2nd V+ and the V boxes is that I have to subscribe to view these channels, usually code 1043 comes up with it

As I said - try the newsgroups where UK technical support deal with the problems.

I've called TS and been told my their overseas people to wait for 24 hours to see if the problems fixes - where the newsgroup people saw a problem with the signal right away.

You'll get the message about not being subscribed when you try and watch any HD channel on a V Box.

It's technically true, but perhaps not the clearest way of wording it.

As for the V+ Box not getting those channels, you'll have to contact Virgin Media.

Do you ever leave the other boxes not powered up?

This can cause a loss of channels and you need to phone CS to resend the signal.

Try a reboot, otherwise call 151 and they will send a missing channels hit to your box which should sort out the issue.
