Why do people always go *alone* to confront Tony Gordon about his murders? - Soaps

This is the third time it's happened: first Maria, then Jed (several times, in several isolated locations!), and now Roy. Do all these people have a death wish?

Not forgetting Carla, so that's 4! I wondered this on all occasions, how stupid are they?!

not really, the admissions have been one on one, its a big serious accusation to make in front of witnesses with no proof which is roys current dilema .

The same reson they always go alone to the graveyard at midnight in ghost and vampire stories, never tell anyone where they're going and always forget their silver crucifix and garlic!

Like Tenchgirl said, it is not a thing you say in public is it...tell the police, if you like, Tony said to Roy, but he didn't do that did he....

I don't often watch Coronation Street, but I would have thought that Roy is the sort of person who would have gone to the police straight away without hesitating about it.

Roy is very brave and civil minded. To be quite honest I think I'd be keeping quiet, told Tony he never said anything dodgy at all whilst under the influence of morphine and tried to forget! I'd be too scared in case he bumped me off too

But I'm a total coward

No, but they lilke to drag a story out! If they go one at a time then we keep watching for longer...simple really!

I think this is the only time in soap history when I actually don't want someone to get their comeuppance. I like the whole TonyMariaBabyLiam family they have going. I really just want him to get away with it and live happily ever after with his new family.

Probably doesn't help I've never really liked Roy though.

Maria did have a confrontation with Tony in the Rovers last year and was called mad and dragged back home!

Although she didn't exactly go about the right way she pretty much screamed at him and IIRC she was wearing her pyjamas at the time...
