This album just flows amazingly well. Everything naturally flows into everything else - even the transition from OMH - My Hands, for some reason

Yeah. I've just listened to OMH and My Hands worked so well afterwards even thoguh they're pretty much at opposite ends of the spectrum lol.

It is obvious that there was a lot of thought put into the track-list order. It's very flowing and balanced.

Someone on pulse says that Mariah Carey makes an appearance on Can't Breathe at 3:02. Christina Aguilera makes an appearance at 3:10.

It should be fine, I bet we wake up tomorrow with it being in the top 20, then after X Factor performance it will rocket to number 1.

Definitely not climbing as fast as I would have hoped *waits for mm83*

I just wonder what part of that is iTunes lag (I know its been fixed but I wonder if there's still a residual problem with it) and what part is Happy just isn't taking off in Ireland? Probably 50/50.

In any case, as far as I'm aware, iTunes in Ireland does not count anywhere near as much as it does in other "big" countries such as the UK, US and Germany. I think physicals still actually really count over there.

Why does it have two entries on Itunes in Ireland?

Just rewatched Leona doing Happy on Divas and other performances, they've def tried to uptempo it a bit since then with the backing track.

Can't wait to see the video go out on ITV Tomorrow, I would love to know how much that is costing her label.

It does seem to work quite well. Can make a real difference as well. The track listing for Carrie Underwood's new album really does it no favours, especially on first listen (reorganised the listing on Spotify now!).

ITV will use up all their primetime ad allocation during X Factor and Piers Morgan. There's nothing important on after 10.40pm and "Happy" is probably going to hold the audience as much as a 10.40pm news bulletin would!

If it had been in their primetime schedule they would have had to pay (so much we'd have to do with a 7 song album!). When Cheryl & Alexandra's videos premiered, the schedule was different (X Factor followed by a movie premiere) so they were on far later but still got more than 1m, IIRC. Definitely. Physicals are still very important over here even though downloads are becoming ever popular. I plan to pick up my physical copy of Happy over the weekend.

In any case, X Factor will ensure that Happy goes to No. 1 on iTunes if it's not there before Sunday, but I don't think that'll happen.

I know! Carrie's track list is not well put together. The top half is great but the second half is very "meh". I love carrie but i am not feeling this album as much as i did for the first two.

With ECHO, there is a good balance of ups and downs (as in tempo ^_^)

I really hope so, I'm totally sure that if more people see the video (especially women) the song will take off, it is her best video ever I think, the way Leona acts through it, the split story, great photography and so on.
