It will be on TV but only on Sky Box Office, so I won't be watching it. From the Daily Mail: TV: Live on Sky Box Office from 8pm (fight scheduled to start at 10pm).

I think this poses an interesting piracy arguement.

The OP clearly cannot get the fight so if he/she was to find an illegal stream surely that would have no impact on the revenues brought in by the fight.

You could argue that the op may buy sky just for it and piracy would prevent this but that is not apparent from this post.

It probably won't last more than 2 seconds anyway.

There appears to be a free online stream here:

http://livefooty.doctor-serv.com/index.html

scroll down a bit and it's the first item.

I don't know if it'll work but I'm going to give it a try.

Why?

Because it's a giant fighting a 'normal' sized boxer.

I thought boxers had to fight against those of their own weight anyway.

Does seem a bit unfair but heavyweight is the top class and I don't think there's any upper limit for a heavyweight (just minimum weight of 200lbs), so no where else for him to fight. Heavyweight boxing has been in a mess for a number of years now. Anyway I suppose the bigger they are the harder they fall or something. He should of took up basketball or WWE.

Less than a year ago Valuev fought 46 year old Evander Holyfield and only won on points. Holyfield is pretty much the same height and weight as David Haye (about an inch and a few pounds in it).

He's also a hell of a lot slower too and far more likely to tire in later rounds.

Here is the guy who beat him, you will note he is shorter than Haye.

Haye just needs to be like a bee, buzzing around him and make him tired. Then when he isn't looking smack him one on the chin.

Oh dear you sound very angry with me!

What forum should I have posted it on?

I didn't ask for free stream!

I couldn't see it on Freeview but I can get to Sky/radio etc NOW that I have been advised by 'helpful' DS forum users.

Do what I do for every big fight, get a account at http://www.liveonlinefooty.com/ , pay £2 and get a great stream for the fight.

I have been using this site for 3 years now and get a perfect stream every time, is worth the small fee as the free ones never last.

Wrong. I have been watching boxing for over 40 years. I just don't understand all the rules, that's all, which is why I said 'I thought......'

Anyway I take it all back, the 'giant' lost, and well done to David Haye.

I watched the whole fight on TV perfectly legally and it didn't cost me a penny?

How? Well, I have a free to air satellite receiver connected to a dish which is at 19 degrees. It's a left-over from the Sky analogue days. I remember reading that a previous Ricky Hatton fight was shown unencrypted on a German satellite channel, so I thought it may well be the same for the David Haye one. So, I started tuning.

I found a German satellite channel called "Das Erste" which showed the entire fight unencrypted for free! Only disadvantage was the German commentary. If I'd had more time I could probably have found a live radio commentary in English and used that; I'll do that next time.

Well worth remembering for future events!

You could have had the BBC Radio 5 live commentary.
