What's this week's sob story.

I wonder what stunt old Craig will try this week to try to get his fans to keep him in.We've had the Blackpool story, the birthday begging, so what's next?
He'll probably have some old relative in the audience in tears pleading to keep "the boy" in.
Reminiscent of Logan in his kilt, thistle and Scottish music .

Sorry, I'm bagging Ricky's RTA which led to him nearly being run over by 2 trucks as the sob story of the week.

Beat that Craig!

I'm sure he'll have a darn good try at beating it. Perhaps he will actually be run over by 2 trucks, as opposed to nearly!

He's probably a nice enough guy, but he comes over as a right wimp. He seems to rely on sympathy rather than ability.
I expect some injury yarn this week. "Ooooooh 've hurt my
(insert part of body) but I'll soldier on OooooooH"

Well I believe Ricky G suffered tendonitis early in the show; Ali's toe became the most celebrated digit in the history of SCD. Phil needed an operation on his knee and apart from Ricky W's car crash and near car crash here's an extract from his blog;
Quote:
I’m having physio on my hamstrings and my body is in pieces.
But I've never heard Craig complain of injury.

I've just had a vision of Craig being knocked down by the lead float in a parade organised by Bhoy1888 in his honour. Infact, I can see Bhoy merrily waving his VOTE CRAIG banner completely oblivious to the chaos he has wrought

Have to admit Ignazio is right though, Ive never heard Craig complain of injury.

I think Ricky W and Natalie had only trained for 8.5 hours according to ITT, so I'd put my money on the car crashes.

Mind you it sounds like Ali's foot is still a bit of a problem (it might have been a toe stub, but it injured the whole foot) and Tuffers said he does have to be careful as his knee starts to hurt if he dances for too long at a time and he then has to keep it raised - they would both beat Ricky W and his car crashes for me and be quite valid 'excuses'.

Actually I think Craig's 'get to Blackpool' vote will get him through tonight and then he'll be on his way back up the M6 next week to Blackpool again!

I can't see him playing the injury card - to get inujred, you usually have to be doing something other than just standing still. If he doesn't have the aged Granny, whose only wish is to see her beloved grandson lift the glitterball, then I can see him doing a moody VT staring out to sea and getting drenched by a ginormous wave.

In a cartoon kind of way that would be very funny!

I have to say that I do hope there aren't any sob stories tonight. I'm a little bit caught up in the Blackpool hype and I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone dance and hope that all the focus is on the dancing rather than storylines.

I hope nobody has any form of sob story tonight. Given that they're actually AT Blackpool, it would be nice to just see everybody enjoying themselves and having fun.

Then he'd have a REAL sob story. 'Did you see that wave I could have been killed vote for me so I can leave Blackpool and not be murdered by waves' .

Hasn't that already been done by Neil Kinnock! Didn't work with the voters that time

Ah well, you see, Kinnock was actually sabotaged by Glynis, who was pulling him backwards up the beach. We wouldn't have that problem with Craig, because Flavia would be shoving him forwards

His aim tonight is to appear in London next week.

This could be the answer!

Perhaps he'd be like one of those people who wakes up from a head injury with an astonishing new talent.... like speaking fluent norweigian or playing the piccolo... or dancing!

I'm not in such a hurry to see Craig go myself. He'll be followed by Ricky G, Phil, then probably Nathalie, and we'll be left with the ones than can dance a little bit but are really boring - and there'll still be a month to go!!

I am rather hoping all his fans will be in the ballroom therefore not able to vote for him.
