DTI6300 - No frequencies found
Hi,
I have a Thomson DTI6300 which stopped working a few months ago. After reading these threads I have managed to get the latest software vesion, re-format the drive and restore the factory default settings; but I still cannot find any frequencies when scanning (even after multiple attempts). The odd thing is the date and time are correct so its obviously picking up some info from somewhere. it just doesn't seem to find any frequencies. I'm not sure what the display is showing me, but when I select tuning info and increment through the numbers from 21 through to 69 (presumably these are frequencies) Tuner1 never displays any signal, but when I scroll through on Tuner2 it shows good signal strength and good quality on 40, 56, 62, 63, 66, 67 and 68. I have left Tuner2 on 68 showing good quality and strength and tried rescanning for channels and it still can't find any frequencies. So I wonder whether the box is only using Tuner1 - is there anyway I can force it to use Tuner2? |

The aerial cable goes straight into the DigiBox and then into the TV. There is also a scart socket connection from the DigiBox to the TV. I can still get some of the terrestrial channels on the TV which suggests to me that the connections must be ok.

There are 4 aerial ports, the 2 in the middle should be connected to togher by a block.
The left hand side is aerial IN, the right hand side is aerial OUT. Is this correct? Do the 2 in middle have a conector on them? |
