How popular is Joe
i love Joe but I am worried about the lack of posts in his appreciation thread, even Lloyd has more. There was a story in the sun that he only just missed the bottom 2 last week though I don't know if I believe it.
I just worry that people are underrating him |

I think people like him but I am not sure where a gay teen singer would fit into the current pop conveyor belt.

I wouldn't use how many posts or users to predict how popular someone is. Jedward have less fans than most of the others on Facebook but they keep getting through each week!

The kid's got a great voice. He poos all over Olly and LLoyd.
Sadly, I don't see him as a popstar but think he would excel in musical theatre. |

I'd say he's polling mid table, maybe just missing the bottom 2 last week. This weeks song is unlikey to see a massive leap, it will be competantly sung, but dull and ultimately showcasing why musical theatre is a better option for him.

I liked Joe at the beginning but I must admit over the past few weeks he hasn't blown me away.
Nice enough lad but a bit boring for me. |

I like him and he's got a good voice but if he were to win the show what musical direction would he go in?? I agree I think he would be great on the west end or something

Joe is my second favourite from J&E, I think he is a very good looking guy and in my opinion a way better singer than Lloyd 'vote for me because I'm attractive regardless of my singing voice' Daniels

Mid table mediocrity for me. Going on voice.....lovely voice. But he just grins through every song, which means he doesn't connect with the lyrics. Nice lad but not the whole package for me.

His main YouTube vid is just a shade under third place Jamie in hits. So he is pretty popular. Deffo a potential winner.
I think he could sell a decent amount of albums and have a solid if unspectacular career if he won. Probably appealing to a middle of the road audience. A modern Cliff Richard. |

It's a bit odd that on Teletext's interview with Brian Friedman it states that neither of Cheryl's boys are tipped for success.
What on earth is that supposed to mean? ![]() Joe is the second favourite to win at the moment and has been dubbed as the dark horse of the competition. I'd say that's a pretty good place to be. |

But I have seen a few polls where he's mid table and he may not be high in the actual voting as others would have you think.
God, Cheryl will be a right mardy madam if her 'little brother' ends up in the bottom 2. |

he's polished but bland. Good voice, but just seems incapable of coming up with a "wow" performance, constant 7/10 mid-table fodder - which in this years group will probably be enough to take him into the last three.

Even kittens on pink cushions are more masculine than him. He is a tap dancing show boy not Top 40 T*at material.
Btw I call every Top 40 artist a t*at, as I only listen to Rock ! |

but slightly inebriated is the best way to fully appreciate J&E !
Edit - back on topic. I think Joe would struggle on one of those BBC ALW casting type show - he needs to get worldly wise and just keep developing the voice. |

Joe was my second fav at the start, I loved his rendition of Dance With My Father, but having now seen him for 4 weeks, he seems to be bland, yes a good voice that much is for sure. He does smile through songs, something he needs to learn not to do, a weepy song is not to be smiled through, and he would have to stop that if he were to go onto the west end stage, which is where I see him as well.
He would have made a great Joseph, and I think Andrew Llyod Webber would have loved him had he appeared on his show. I just think he is polling in the middle, but looks like he was third from bottom last week, but that does not mean to say he will be bottom this week. He is singing a well liked song as well (well I like it! LOL), which could gain him votes from those who do not have a favourite. GG |

![]() The polls on here are no reflection on what is happening. There are about 200 people voting on here and most of them are for John and Edward.
