Mux A problems - Channels vanished (merged)

Has Mux A gone dead for anybody else from Belmont?

Edit: I just looked in TransEdit and NIT/SDT/EIT etc are all present but every stream is missing, replaced with 23Mbps of null packets.

ITV3/Virgin1 seems to have vanished....

Hi all

Anyone else experiencing a loss of ITV3/Virgin1 on freeview?

My kids were watching the Garfield film on ITV3 and all of a sudden the picture just paused and did nothing - when I changed channels and back again, the tv displayed the message "no video".

I did a rescan - but still the same.

Also noticed the same on Virgin 1.

Same here - both appear to be dead, with the "No Video" message displayed... Tried a re-tune, but still says No Video

Transmitter for me is Winter Hill

Not sure which transmitter I am on.... I am based in Sussex.

Glad it's not just me then!

Yes, I was just going to post a message about how Mux A has disappeared overnight on Winter Hill. Why do I get the feeling that someone has f**ked up?

I hate to think what less technologically knowledgeable people are thinking with these constant Freeview changes as even I don't know what they seem to be doing a lot of the time.

Me too. As there were no messages on here about it I thought that I was to blame. I've also lost QVC, bid.tv and FIVER by the looks of it. I'm on the Crystal Palace transmitter.

As I couldn't see any messages on here either, I assumed it was my set at fault or something!

Obviously a general thing then....

Same here from Wenvoe as well - "High" signal reported but no sign of the channels themselves...

It must've happened sometime in the last 2 hours - was watching Star Trek on Virgin1 at half 12

Signal Quality - 100%
Signal Strength - 70%

Yet nothing coming through

It happened about 2.15pm - my kids were watching the Garfield film on ITV3 and the picture suddenly froze, like a DVD on pause.

Upon changing channels and back again, just got the "no video" message displayed on my panasonic tv.

Not sure what transmitter I'm on, but I'm in central Edinburgh and I'm missing all of the channels mentioned above, together with ESPN.

Yeah sounds like a nationwide issue anyway. Hopefully it'll be back soon or I'll have to do some... work

That Garfield film is repeated at 6:35am tomorrow morning (if you're up that early)

Lost Fiver & Five USA

Went to watch Troop Beverly Hills on Five USA and it's coming up with no signal. I checked Fiver and the same. It's weird the EPG is displaying program info just no signal. I re-tuned and nothing. Anyone else in East London finding the same thing?

Cheers,

JJ

Spoke to a friend in the South West and she claims she's still getting Mux A channels.
