Worried the twins ARE serious? - The X Factor

If you are worried the twins are serious, which a few people seem to be, then take a look at the first minute of their audition:

I've no doubt they were a joke from the words: Hey I'm John and I'm Edward, and together we are... John and Edward!

The twins are way ahead of us all.

They said girls would be screaming their name...and they are..

They joked everyone would have "big hair" like them and we laughed...not only has this happened but people in New York have worn Jedward costumes for Halloween...

Louis said they were in their own little world when they thought Britney would be watching...but she is....

Their performances may be pure comedy, but their ambition isn't. They're headed for stardom!

OMG I'm a deluded fan.

Seriously though, that whole audition looks different in the context of what we know about them now, it's just their dry sense of humour. They crack me up.

I also thought they didn't sing that badly (and...we're back to being deluded)

I agree they must not in anyway take themselves seriously which is going to be extremely difficult especially when, not it, when they win X Factor.

I have no doubts at all that they will be winning Xfactor.

It is incredible that they are so confident at 17 wow. Lets hope they are this positive throughout their lives.

I've never been able to work out whether the twins are a couple of complete idiots who happened to be in the right place at the right time or showbiz geniuses in the making with a plan for world domination.

Unfortunately for the future of mankind, I fear it may be the latter.

I am with you Caz. Most of us including Simon and Louis have underestimated the twins. They have played this experience brilliantly.
