ITV are thinking of axing Taggart
Was reading this in the days Daily Record.
http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/showbiz...6908-21804258/ STV say they may keep making it in 2010 for STV viewers even if ITV axe the show in the rest of the UK. Darren |

I would think that after the way STV has stuck 2 fingers up at the itv network, that they will retaliate by not taking on any new Taggarts

I've heard the Taggart calendar is cheaper than the COUNTRYPHILES one though.

no they will carry on making taggarts as it rolls in the viewers a bit like itv,s the play den oh sorry they call it the bill but crap actors and storylines its more like the c.i.d than the bill.As for taggart it has millons of fans worlwide so if itv do away with it it will be silly and stv will have a hayday making loaads of dosh with it selling it to the hundreds of countrys that watch it

I still watch Taggart but not as much as I used to.
I do hope STV keep on making it for the Scottish viewer. Its about time STV had 60%/70% of there own way and less to do with ITV. I do understand that STV need to keep a few ITV shows as they bring in the viewers and thats fine. Darren |

Although I've not seen all of Taggarts (mainly because I did'nt realise it was on) I've always enjoyed it.
I thought the recent one about the suicide pact was a good one (but might have been a repeat?) |
