MW2: Sainsbury Rumour, cheapest price so far

Sainsbury are rumoured to be selling MW2 at £26, and you seemingly can reserve your copy now, depending on store

Sainsbury Sell MW2 for £26

Ps3 forum check thios thread apicture with mw2 info at £26 from sainsubry warehouse

Hopefully this is good news, and what the rest of the supermarket chains have been waiting for

So could we see a real bargin for MW2, if Asda and Tesco try to out do Sainsbury and each other, so MW2 might go for as low as £25

It now makes sense to those who have prordered from Asda, you will be guaranteed your copy, and I would expect all copies in the supermarket to sell out in the first few hours

I could quite easily believe this, IMO from past experience, Sainsbury's games are usually very cheap compared to other stores

Why is it scribbled and with an R? That usually means returned or replaced.

Eitherway, I dont understand why its a PS3 rumor as well, given the photo shows 360 as the platform.

Rumors Rumors Rumors. Im not getting my hopes up. Ill just take it at the price it is on the day.

Then thats the only place that does that for Reserved Games. Asda and Tesco do that for returns/replacements.

And as far as I am aware once you scan an item you can amend the price on the system. Ive seen it plenty of times when an items been reduced but when scanned it comes up at full price, so the cashier just go's into the system and overwrites the correct price with the reduced price.

Could have done the same for the picture above, just gone to his till, manually changed price to 26.00 and then printed the receipt, then gone to his boss 'oh sorry boss, I put this through as the wrong price' so the boss cross's it out, initials it and puts it back on the shelf. Employee keeps his receipt and takes a picture.

Bish bash bosh, DS frenzy!!!

Perhaps they are covering themselves for putting a sale through, by proving that it was "returned"?

Well there's no way that I'll be going to a store at midnight to get it, so I'm just going to stick with Additions Direct. Someone posted a code in the PS3 to use on their website and it'll only cost me £23.95.

What day? The day it's released? Why, when you could just buy it there and then?

Anway, Sainsbury's aren't open at midnight. So, I'll have to wait till the morning to get it if the rumours are true.

Do you think If I was to call my local Sianbury's, they would confirm it?
