Jamie's song is from an obscure movie not many people would have heard of be prepared for lot's of people including Louis saying "That wasn't from a movie"

These are official it is top of this page if you look, but surely they have the wrong crying for Jamie, as the one by Aerosmith is from a film and I think I have even seen the film.

"Crying" for Jamie? Didn't Roy Orbison sing at least part of that falsetto?
Oo-er, I'm not surprised Jamie is a little displeased with Mr. Cowell. |

Joe McElderry: 'Circle Of Life' (Elton John)
Good choice imo, cracking song. Lloyd Daniels: 'Stand By Me' (Ben E. King) Cop-out. The Girls Stacey Solomon: 'Son Of A Preacher Man' (Dusty Springfield) Good choice Lucie Jones: 'This Is Me' (Demi Lovato) Bit of a cop-out, the original is such souless Disney plastic crap, she should do well, but it's an easy option The Over-25s Danyl Johnson: 'Purple Rain' (Prince) Can't wait for this ![]() Jamie Archer: 'Crying' (Roy Orbison) Don't know this one Olly Murs: 'Twist And Shout' (Phil Medley and Bert Russell) Cop-out, easy song, will suit his performance style perfectly tho The Groups John & Edward: 'Ghostbusters Theme' LOL

Stand By Me is such an easy, safe choice for Lloyd. Cheryl has been awful in picking songs for this boy.

I agree on your cop outs Old.Tallen.
Roy Orbison does this beautifully go and listen on youtube, but a rocker doing it, it is no better than Unchained Melody and I wonder why the press guy is saying Jamie argued for this song... very odd to me, and people are already saying they do not know it, I do, as a huge fan of the BIG O as he was often called. And yes this one he sure hits those high notes on, can Jamie actually hit high notes in the same way?? |

I kind of agree but it's a million times better than Footloose or Kissed a Girl so I'm just gonna be grateful for small mercies. It's a good song, David Archuleta did it top 4 on American Idol.

Crying by Aerosmith, yup, can see that, makes the theme work for him, but the Big O's one is puzzling to say the least

No I have never heard him go that high which is why I am a bit shocked, had he argued for Aerosmith I could see where he was coming from but this song I just cannot get my head around it at all.

'Crying' is probably a joke by Simon at Jamie's expense. Designed to show off his limitations, I suspect.

On Ollie NO please no pelvis pumping it is horrible, it looks false and over cooked. I hate the song which is not helping matters and yet another Beatle song..
On Jamie well if Jamie argued to get this song I just dont get it, unless he only had two to pick from and feels Unchained is just to over done. |

I'd bet money that Lloyd will do this version:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QV_cNPcyOrQ With the 'Beautiful Girls' part... |

The Roy O song was forever ruined by 'Only Fools And Horses' for me.

How do you know that the official X site says ROY O, or have they made a huge mistake which I would not put past them, and have to say I did not know the A one but do know the Roy one, are they hoping for an older audience vote for Jamie tonight... sorry but how many rock fans watch this show...that is the point really.
