Annoying ESPN on their football broadcast of EPL!!!

I'me becoming to be fed up by the way they are giving the football scores of the afternoon EPL games when they are broadcasting the 5.30 game on saturday.

Can't they understand that some people, like me, don't want to know the results because we want to watch them while watching football first on sky sports or match of the day on BBC1?

Can they stop doing that?

I hate that very much.

Any comments?

I never thought about that. I always check the results before watching MOTD, so it doesn't bother me but I guess it can be frustrating for others. Even if you manage to turn away as they appear on the screen, you usually have Jon Champion talk about them as they're scrolling along lol.

Record the ESPN game, then watch Football First / other games in your preferred order.

They all do this though mate. Sky Sports have just done it at half time on the Chelsea v Man Utd game. If they always do it then wait until kick off time before tuning in. I would say a lot more want to know the scores than don't

Exactly - its not just ESPN and Sky - BBC and ITV give results of earlier games out as well.

And in next weekends meaningless friendly in Qatar, Brazil beat England by 2-0.

My biggest complaint is when sky give the live scores for other matches on Champions League nights - obviously in days of sky+ people are likely to be watching 1 match whilst recording another to watch afterwards.

This practice should stop - make it a red button option perhaps.

Sky say they have to do this, although as itvHD don't during their live match, I find that hard to believe.

I don't see any problems, this is the method that these broadcasters have been using for years.
