What Planet Is Craig On?

He actually genuinely thought he was good

I found his disbelief at the judges comments and scores A-MAZ-ING

AD has gone up in my estimation, "Zoe went last week and I had to endure that". Brilliant.

I thought they were quite generous actually. I was surprised at Craig awarding a 3 - I thought it would be 2 at most from him

It should have been last week and yes AD hit the bulls-eye with that excellent comment that was one that Simon Cowell would be proud of

Craig is on Planet 'ME ME ME'

He clearly thought he was better than he actually was. He didn't even thank Flavia when he was voted off.

He's an odd one, so deluded...... to be fair he might be the dancing equivalant of a tone deaf singer. Utterly unable to understand how bad they are.

I always thought that his comments were a bit tongue in cheek/an attempt to be humourous!!!

To be fair, though, as he has said before when he started he couldn't dance (still can't!!) so tonight was 'good' for him!!

And I thought ALesha was patronising and rude.

Me too. I think to him given where he started from he probably thinks he is way ahead of where he was when he started and that is what he is celebrating.

I also think some people just don't get the humour. I think he is hilarious.

I dont think SCD will have done much to further his career... he is very unaware of his talents. Ill bet in the dance off he was actually thinking he'd go through. Bless him, someone does need to have a word.

BTW. Psst Alesha, just so you know, live on tv in front of 9 million people probably wasn't the place to do it - there is a time and a place!

I was really up for supporting Craig because I loved him in Queer as Folk.

But I've come away from this thinking he's a bit of noddy and really wishing they'd managed to get 'Stuart Alan Jones' of Queer as Folk instead. I bet he can dance.

I do think he has a sliiiiightly over-high opinion of his own talents, to put it mildly - surely watching his own performances back he can see where he's really just not that good? If he really thinks when he watches it back he was good ... well, eek. I'm glad he seemed to have a good time out there but it was overdue time for him to go.

I do think Alesha went a bit OTT, though - while the last thing I wanted was Craig back for ANOTHER week (and yes, I was peed off with the dance-off duo last week, too) being nasty to him just runs the risk that people will vote for him in retaliation! I preferred Len and Bruno's more moderate comments - a clear "sorry, you're not as good as the others" without feeling the need to get personal.

I did too ...... at first but now I genuinely think he thought he was as good as some of the others ...

Has he ever acknowledged that better dancers left before him?

I have to say this was the first time I have liked any comment from Alesha. She was spot on.

Craig is a very strange person. Presumably he has seen his dances on TV and still thinks they were good. His comment tonight after the judges marks was 'disgraceful'! The other contestants in the background, particularly Phil Tufnell who has a good sense of humour just fell about laughing. Craig is so deluded.

I am on the fence now about Craig and likely to be stuck there!

One half of me thinks he really, truly does think he dances a good routine every week and he is totally deluded - sweet, but deluded.

The other half of me thinks he has a strange sense of humour and is having a huge laugh at our expense and is a very good actor.

I thought Flavia was humouring him throughout and may or may not be in on the joke.

I just can't decide and I will watch ITT on Monday, but I doubt if I will be any the wiser afterwards!

I do wonder whether he has a tendency to make comments in a very deadpan way. But, I actually am disappointed in his acting ability as he never seemed to be able to bring any change to his facial expressions while dancing. I would have thought that as an actor he at least should have been able to do that - even if he couldn't dance.
