Hmmm - they don't seem very sure whether it's a FreeSAT or FreeVIEW box

It's a Freesat box, it says so on the front panel.
What they don't know is that there are more channels than 30 on Freesat (and Freeview as well).

Is this another Harvard clone or something new? If the latter I wonder if it has diseqc.

Looks like its a metronic clone, there is no difference apart from the name...

Yes, but they also point out that 'you may need an aerial upgrade to receive Freeview'

Ferguson haven't existed for years - Thomson bought the name (and closed all the company). Currently the rights to use the name have apparently been sold to Comet, probably on a short term basis.

So there is no Ferguson website, as there's no Ferguson company - from the sound of what others have said here, Comet are buying Freesat boxes from Metronic and having them badged Ferguson.

It does look like the metronic have other stores stopped selling the metronic as i have not seen it for sale any where else any more. Also i did find a ferguson website but i do not think it is any thing to do with the uk receiver http://www.ferguson-digital.eu/

Presumably it's someone else Thomson have sold the rights to?.
