£5 off on line upgrade to Sky Movies

Around Christmas time I usually upgrade from the basic entertainment pack to the movies pack. Usually get an offer of half price movies around this time but notice that the offer is £5 off (or £10 if you take the sports as well). On the Sky site it says that your account will be credited within 60 days. Does that mean that if I go back to the entertainment pack before 60 days is up then I don't get the £5 off?

Any ideas?

Your account will likely be credited with £5 almost within a couple of days, if not a few hours. My ESPN £5 was there within the week when I took that back in August. I think that once ordered, you cannot cancel the movies for at least 30 days.

You will be able to drop back down to the Entertainment pack without losing your £5 credit but as the above poster points out you will need to keep the Movies pack for a minimum of 30 days. The 60 days mentioned for the time it may take to credit your account is just a failsafe for Sky, it basically gives them up to two billing cycles to apply the credit. I upgraded to Sky Movies and when my monthly bill was generated a few days later the £5 credit was showing.

Cheers. Thanks for that. I'll upgrade like I usually do in a couple of weeks. Kids like having the movies at Christmas.
