Did Rebuild... Lost everything... Normal? - Sky+ HD

Hi guys

My Sky+ HD box was running a little sluggish so I went into the installer menu and did a rebuild. I do this from time to time and it seems to work. The only problem is that this time, I lost all of my recordings.

Is this normal? Can I retrieve the missing recordings?

Sure you didn't do a system reset

It's not normal but if what ever the SKY+ RASP layers uses for indexing is corrupted a rebuild I suppose could remove everything or more to the point the index for everything.
Not aware of anything the can bring these recordings back as is unless it's a bug and reboot works, maybe COPY+ could see the files and transfer to a fresh disk.

A reboot should restore the recordings or even another rebuild - unless the drive is dying

That is assuming the OP did not do a full reset by mistake
