We're now hearing about how "The Fame Monster" is being cancelled...or are they just also releasing it as a separate album?

And now "Dance In The Dark" has been [accidentally?] added to the Irish ITunes.

The fall of GaGa? Don't be stupid. The label basically didn't want to release the Fame Monster as a re-release with the original album because it would cost too much to print, so she's releasing it as a FULL 2nd album at apparently a cheaper price.

I think they're releasing it as a one disc, maybe with the 8 new songs and a few remixes? Has it been confirmed by the Lady herself yet?

I'm calling it "The Fall Of GaGa..." because we're hearing some bad news about the album, and then not long after, "Dance In The Dark" gets leaked. On the bright side, there's a preview of the "Bad Romance" video

She said she was releasing it as her 2nd album on that German chatshow apparently, without the fame on it, so I guess it will just be 'The Monster' or 'Monster' lol.. I wonder if she'll add some extra tracks to it, she's probably recorded hundreds!

It's her second album, you numpty.

They're releasing it as a stand-alone disk AND in a 2-disk set with The Fame.

No no, same release date

She apparently said it would be her 2nd album, one disc and would be cheaper than TFM. Although I am hoping they'll add a couple more new songs on there if it's supposed to be her new album.

I think this is a mistake to be honest.. I think she should have waited until the maybe the end of 2010 or early 2011 to release the 2nd album. You know, let the anticipation build up a bit.

There are enough new tracks for it to be a new album anyway. But if she is planning to add more, I am more than happy with that!

Yeah I think they should have maybe released BR a bit later, but saying that they'll probably know pre-order figures and if it's a new album, everyone will be going 'GaGa' (pun intended) over it.

Yeah, Didn't like EVERY album only have 8/9 songs on it till the 90s lol. I just want them to bump it upto 10 or 11, purely because you know she will get absolutely crushed by the press for releasing a tiny new album.

The fall of Gaga?! Releasing The Fame Monster as a stand-alone sophomore album is a brilliant idea. The rise of Gaga. I salute her for this. Although, I've pre-ordered my digipack edition so I'm kind of worried now wondering what's going on or what I'll get!

Also, I'd like to add that releasing TFM as a stand-alone album shows how confident they are in the quality of the 8 songs on that album. We're not hearing 'bad news' at all, we're hearing the Haus of Gaga thinking with their brains. Pity more artist's didn't think like this nowadays.

Yeah I think it's a good idea too, when you have THAT many songs I think it's daft for a re-release! From what we've heard it sounds pretty strong, and a lot darker (which I love haha).

Erm, I'm guessing you'll still get it? Someone on some other forums said the deluxe (is that the digipack one?) still has the fame with it... but the normal version just has the new disc. SO I guess that could happen?

I guess we'll just have to wait for a press release

I still stand by the thread title...I think it's too late to change it, as Christmas List's have already been made and this could cause problems, even if they are only minor

And don't forget that "Dance In The Dark" was leaked...good news for us, but maybe not for her. That's why it is "The Fall Of GaGa...", even though she just keeps getting better and better

I'm still confused myself. One moment I hear the new album is postponed until 2010, the next I see places like play.com taking orders for the fame monster double disc.

Basically I think she had an argument with her record label that said re-releasing The Fame with The Fame Monster was too expensive so instead The Fame Monster is being released as a separate 2nd album and will just include the 8 new tracks.

I'm very pleased that they are release 'Fame Monster' seperately from The Fame. It makes much more sense, especially as 'Monster' is almost a new album by itself.

She is getting better and better

I just wish they would release 'Dance in the Dark' on UK iTunes - what is the hold up?!!?!
