Was tonight Lucie's turning point?

so what do y'all think???? I feel it was, the reason why is because i just feel that she has finally found herself, the only thing i hope is that she hasnt found herself to late in the game

I thought the song was dire: vacuous teen wannabe material. I liked her better last week when at least she was given a great song.

I think she's definately found her comfort zone- in a "pop-rock" kind of way. I'm definately not a big fan of the song, but Lucie is growing on me more and more If she gets given good, original material when she leaves the competition I think she'll do pretty well All the best to her!

Lucie is one of the only contestants so far to improve week on week and have a "journey" storyline. I think she'll be in the final

I dont know for me, her performance of my funny Valentine was beautiful and i liked her last week too.

But i think they are trying to make her to much like Hannah Montana teen idol tyoe thing, I think she can do better than that.

She certainly seemed comfortable within that performance giving that song to the audience in a way that appeared effortless and convincing. I think she has found her stride whilst Stacey, with the best will in the world, faltered.

For me, Lucie has stolen Stacey's march (in girl act terms) and I never thought I would say that.

I like Lucie, her vocals are always pretty flawless but I think this weeks song was just bad.

I wish they would quit trying to change her image and just give her songs she can sing well.

only if you hang on to the every word of the judges and don't have a mind of your own!

She's rocked it from week 2 onwards

She's been my fav all the way through but Sweet Child Of Mine was the turning point imo.

Tonight she was good but not a great song.

After week 2 she was the only of my 5 fav acts who had disappointed me in the live show and now she has overtaken them all

Doing a Stacey tonight, whilst talking to Dermot, needs to be knocked on the head. Didn't do Rachel any favours trying to find a whacky personality, after finding out the public didn't 'know who she was'.

It really was the most appalling song choice, and her weakest performance so far, too.

She was much better last week (despite the awful song), and even better the week before. So in response to the OP, it was something of a U-turn, unfortunately.

Better than a multi-million selling worldwide phenomenon? You MUST think she is good!

Thinking the same thing.
The most changed/transformed contestant from her earlier performances but the change happened last week.
Kudos to Dannii if it's down to her.

Up until last week Lucie seemed self conscious and reserved which made for rather bland, even uncomfortable performances.
She seems to have come out of her shell, hope it continues.

She also looks quite hot instead of a Faryl Smith lookalike.

Best she's done so far. Well I presume it is... it's only the 2nd time ive even remembered her.

She's certainly found her niche and is a lot more interesting for it, even if it's not the kind of music id listen too

lucie turned it for me last week being the only act that sang a rock song in the spirit it was meant to be sung in ( I was expecting a dodgy crow cover) this week she did well too and the kids loved her. She and jamie were the best 2
