Just Seen HD in my friends hose and....
I though the movies look ok but - i found that everything looked "rubbery" - the movement didnt look natural- sure everything flowed smoothly but everyone looked rubbery to me- does anyone else know what I mean?:
Plus, I couldnt see the diff between Sky Sports 1 and HD1? He has a 40 sony for £800. |

Never seen Sky Sports 1 HD but I have Sky Sports and ITV HD is better picture wise. If you want to suffer dropping SD bitrates (legoview) fair enough.

You can have the best HD source going but it can be killed by a tv that is incorrectly setup and the rubbery look could be the result of some digital picture processing going on such as smooth motion and frame adding.
As always saying which programming was being compared helps enormously if only to determine if you are comparing upscaled HD to upscaled SD or native HD to upscaled SD and the style of content makes a huge difference. |

Maybe Sky Sports 1 HD wasn't showing HD content at the time? I can assure you the difference is all too clear, even with my tired eyes.
