No but would imagine they would be posted in time for launch. Don't Tesco Direct not just use Royal Mail for small packages?

Id imagine they would contact you on a Working Day, when the release date is about to drop. Such as Monday?

A lot of the time they will only contact you for large items like furniture and so on, even if that note is there. I pre-ordered a game from Argos and had the 'we will contact you' thing, but it just got delivered as normal by el postino.

I'd like to know this as well. But I'll be in all day tomorrow anyway doing Uni work. Mainly I just want to know if it's coming tomorrow - having never used Tesco Direct before.

I was attracted by their low pre-order price. I have to say I'm a little annoyed about the price war that's going to happen tomorrow. Amazon have it for £32 already!

I don't think I'll bother with pre-ordering any more to be honest. I'd be better off picking up on the day at a cheaper price.

So I'll be dissapointed if I don't get it tomorrow - seeing as it seems £37 is actually a high price for it now.

i think the price i paid was £32 when i ordered it in august from tesco direct with all the discounts and free delivery plus £5 of club card points worked out nice, on the plus side homer least you are guaranteed the game albeit £11 worse off

I wonder if Tesco will refund the difference on the instore price?

This'll be my last time ordering a blockbuster title online as well. Should have just waited...

Anyone who ordered from Tesco Direct got their copy yet? Still waiting. I'll be very dissapointed if I don't get it today. But someone ^ did say 7-7 so hopefully I'll get it this afternoon.

Otherwise I could have just got it in the shops today at a reduced price.

Mine hasn't arrived yet either. I bought the game in Morrisons for £26 this morning so am going to get a refund on the Tesco one if arrives regardless. £10 better in my pocket than theirs.

Does anyone know if I can take it back to my local store for a refund? Tecsc Direct offer a click and collect service - does it work the other way. Not really worried either way, it's just easier to take it back to the shop.

Took my copy back to my local Tesco where they have a Tesco Direct desk. I opened the package in front of the guy and he looked at the paperwork. There were no figures on it so he scanned it in and it came up at £39.70. He asked if that sounded right and I said aye near enough. refund processed...Bingo - £4 profit. Thanks Tesco! All in all MW2 cost me £22.

Same, except that i ordered it from Amazon. Apparently there are a lot of annoyed Amazon customers today. They're practically the only online retailer that sent it via Royal Mail who are presumably still struggling with their back log from the strikes...smart eh?

I'm not too annoyed because i'm waiting until Christmas to play it, but if i had wanted to play it today i would've been PISSED, lol.

Now Joe i hope you have taught your child well in life! Some people on here just can't understand a parent buying this for their child. Is your son ok? Does he know right from wrong? Is there a possibility he might go to Tesco and buy a 9mm gun and kill you in your sleep tomorrow night? I don't want to frighten you Joe but these are the cold hard facts! This is reality we are talking about! Damnit Joe answer me! Infact no..........leave the house now! He could be planning your assasination right this minute on a maths book writing with those special crayons you bought him last Christmas. No Joe....nooooooooooooo

*falls in a heap*

We can't bear to lose our Joe!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*sobs uncontrollably*
