Brown says attack should remain private?

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/showbiz/...e-private.html

Why should it? In that case he shouldn't have made such a blatant mess of her face!!

I bet he does. The details remained private whilst he falsely kept his good name. I think it's a good thing that Rihanna's spoken out about this. It might very well give women the encouragement they need to come forward if they're being beaten by their male partner in life.

They're both getting more publicity for their records now aren't they? Win-win situation.

Honestly that low-life isn't even worth discussing imho.

My only concerns are that she returns to him at some point in the future because I can guarantee that he will promise her the sun, the moon and the stars above that it will never happen again.

It will.

I sincerely hope that Rihanna can remain strong.

Yes. I'm sure that she agreed to being beaten up.

Did you see her face?

Oh, I wouldn't say that. For all we know, some of Chris' fans turn against him for him beating Rihanna?

Of course she didn't agree to it but they can still both make the most of the publicity.

Of course he wants it to remain private but scum like him don't deserve to be given anonymity.

No woman deserves the beating that Rhianna got from him, all I can say is well done to Rhianna making it public knowledge as it gives support to non famous ladies who are victims of domestic abuse.

Imho attackers of all types of assualt should have a sign on their door explaining the type of person that they are. Scum like Chris Brown have dug their own graves the moment they even think of laying a hand on someone, esp a lady.

I guess it's because it's hurt his 'career' - he should have thought about that before attacking her.

It's too high profile to just keep private, lets face it he can't handle the heat.

I don't think it would be possible to keep something like this private as they are both high profile individuals and this is an extremely serious crime - and neither should it remain under wraps.

He is in the public eye and his fans, along with everybody else, should know what type of character he truly is - a damn disgusting one, by the sounds of it.

Now he's just trying to cover his own back and lay the blame on other factors.

it was never going to stay private, the pictures should have, how dare someone leak the pictures for financial gain, it was a disgrace and the leak? the police.

anyway onto Chris Brown, what he did, well he has to live with that shame, it breaks my heart that men and woman are victims of physical and mental abuse, the after effects are even more harrowing.

many have been left with psycological scars, insecurities, lack of confidence, as well as physical scars.
it ruins lives, it really really does break my heart, I'm glad rihanna walked away.

Chris Brown is under going counselling i just hope it works.
when someone wants to make a change, we should stop judging and allow the person to repent, i pray to god he never ever lays a finger on another woman again.

for now i reserve my judgement i hope rihanna stays strong, seeks help if she is finding it hard to deal with it, i hope chris brown honestly changes.

It's not exactly doing him any favours to have it discussed publicly, so of course he's going to say it should stay private. Good on Rihanna for standing up for herself, she's got a great opportunity to make something postive of all of this and be a role model for other women in similar situations.
