Watching Leona now she's confirming what I've always thought - screechy and boring. Is it really just me who thinks this!

I think she's very "cruise ship" and the fact she has the personailty of a wet lettuce doesn't help.

i like 'outta my head' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80FN51Ts3FQ and this sounds nothing like her normal stuff, amazing performance tonight - loved the look, seriously haunting and she has an outstanding voice

obviously will not suit evryone though e.g. i dont get danyl - think he has a god awful voice, and literally couldnt imagine listening to his album, so its normal that people have different likes/dislikes

I don't get it either - she gives my hubby goosebumps, he loves her but I just do not understand the hype. I love all types of music from classical to hip hop but Leona leaves me cold. Imo she warbles at the expense of melody and diction - so half the time I have no idea what the song is about. Plus, she still needs to learn more about performance. Yes she can reach high notes - so what!

I've never been a fan, she always sounds like she is being strangled, and she had a deal before the show started so it was all a bit deceptive I thought.

Good luck to her anyway she has done well for herself.

100% agree. I find her voice bland and I am fascinated by the sheer size and scale of her nose!

The only thing to 'get' is that she can sing alot better than MOST of the other contestants that have been on the show; and that she beat all the odds and managed to become a global star.

Liking her personality or her songs isn't really relevant because alot of her appeal is her technical vocal ability.

She's really nice but she's sooooooo boring. I also hate the tone of her voice, I appreciate she can sing, but she always sounds like she's singing through phlegm.

No not just you. She has an amazing voice but the personality and stage presence of a plank of wood. She's just soooooo boring. Did you see her interviewed on the One Show? Poor Adrian and Christine, it was like getting blood from a stone.

Leona would never have succeeded with the X Factor because she's so dull.
