What's bothering you? You know there are people here who you can talk to.

You have done so well turning your life around, I know you have had a recent blip but don't let it get you down, keep doing what you are doing and you will get there in the end.

I think you would be surprised at the amount of people who feel like that, even the ones who seem to have it all, not everyone lives in a garden of roses - they are just good actors.

morgan, when I was in my early twenties, I was tired of everything and nothing I did seemed to work. I had a nervous breakdown at 22, and was in a complete mess until I was 24 / 25. However, I DID get through it (although I would never have believed it if you had told me I would), and am still here today feeling much better about life.

I don't have the answers to everything, but if it helps, please feel free to PM me anytime

Morgan, life isn't easy and it's just a sad fact - being an adult pretty much sucks most of the time if truth be told; you never feel as appreciated as you think you deserve and you never have as much money as you need - even when you work every hour god sends unfortunately!
Life is made better by making the choices that work for you and by being grateful for the small things (which aren't so small in the end - friends, family, personal pursuits); don't give up or give in - this is just part of the passage that lets you be you on your terms. Sorry if I sound preachy, I don't mean to but I know how hard transitions can be and you can do it, it just needs resolve and an awareness that nothing in this life comes easy.

It's the same for everyone. The early 20's are hard to get through and it is a case of finding out who you are and what you want to do with your life. But a lot of us don't end up doing or becoming what we intended. Don't ever give up there is always an unexpected light at the end of the tunnel.

Agreed. We're all gonna die someday - I intend to make the best out of the tools I was given by birth, things I've learnt and the opportunities I have until I reach my natural end. There's never any point in saying you don't want to go on anymore - I'm having a pretty cr*p period of my life at the moment and when I look back on my situation this time 18 months ago I realise just how fantastic and rounded my life was. But these things go in circles and the good times will come around. I don't have a job or a girlfriend at the moment, but there's plenty of great things you can grab out of life. Better to be rich in memories and experiences than in pocket - when you're on your deathbed you want to look back and think, yeah I didn't have the greatest run of luck but I made the best of the situations I had and couldn't have lived a more full life. Good luck mate. There seems to a lot of people here who want to help you

If you're ever feeling down watch this video of a speech by Steve Jobs (CEO of Apple)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1R-jKKp3NA

It's really inspiring, stick with it (15 mins or so long)

Well just be grateful you're not 5340robert.He just spends all day whinging and whining about his life, and spending years and years posting the same crap. At least you have got more of a positive outlook in life.
