Simon Cowell - We will vote on the Best Tonight

Hm... Maybe not....That girl could knock out one of my guys.....I know I'll change my mind.

We'll take the public vote on the earlier son. That kind of makes him a cheat!

What a horid little man

But it's ONLY you opinion that Lucie was the best.

In my opinion she sung flat (and I'm in the industry and do know what flat is) and the Twins put on a far better performance.

And the voting public agree with me.

To say that he was just going to decide on how they performed in the sing off, and then put it too deadlock is a contradiction.

The public do not vote on the sing off performace.

In my opinion lucie was the superior act in the sing off

You're in the industry and you support Jedward.

Obviously you know flat better than Joe Public.

Are you going to put this in all your posts?

Your experience in the 'industry' is all well and good but it doesn't make your opinion of someones singing any more valid than someone else's.

PMSL!!

Do you make the tea or what ?

So if Lucie was "flat" what the hell kind of singing (I use the term loosely) were the twins doing ?

The show is a complete joke "Talent" competition my ass!

No, a talent scout is a worthless entity.

I'm in the music industry and have been for 29 years, so yes I do know both what a flat not is and what a performance is.

And from great experience, I can assure you that performance always wins over singing. (Better to have both, but if not, go with the performance)

As to whether you wish to believe that, that's entirely up to you but I can only post from the position of reality and not your beliefs.

The Twins were performing.

How sad that you only judge singing as a talent and no other form of performance.

That could be where you are having problems as you appear not to be able to judge anyone on anything other than singing.

I had to judge Lucie on singing as there is no performance at all.

What a hypocrite Simon was, he said he would leave the country ( oh please) if Jedward won and when he has the chance to get rid of them he doesn't, I suppose Lucie was more of a threat to his acts than the twins.

Are you serious? You don't have to be in the music industry to know that Lucie sang the terrible twosome off the stage. They barely sang a note in tune, some accomplishment considering they were "singing" a song that had been written for someone who lacks any real singing talent. Of course, what do I know about music though, having only played in an orchestra for a mere 15 years.

Lucie's performance was distinctly karaoke...I went to a singstar house party last year and half a dozen girls there sang exactly like Lucie...

If your hero had actually said that The Brothers Grim were better in the sing off I would have accepted it.

J&E weren't performing, they were jumping around aimlessly like kids in a playground. If you find that entertaining, then you're probably the type of person that finds bath farts funny.

But they don't display any talent when they perform. They follow a choreographed routine which is designed by someone else, and they don't even do that very well. There's no charisma in their performances, and I'm not saying they don't have charisma as people, but they certainly don't show it in their performances. They don't sing well, they don't dance well, and they don't perform well. It's just more-or-less the same routine week in, week out, but with a different set and a different song.

Im not sure why people always say this because arguably it isnt.

I mean, the show is called 'x-factor' not 'singing factor'.

Its about someone that has the X factor a certain 'je ne sais quoi' not about singing.

Anyway, Im still backing Danyl to win as I think he possesses both. I couldnt care less what the papers say, he may well be a bully and he may not get along with the other contestants but nobodies perfect and there are plenty worse 'celebs' and singers that are far worse and worshipped by millions.
