Simon Cowel loses all credability, what a total idiot! - The X Factor

I have always loved Simon and thought that he was right in a lot of what he says but tonight was totally disgusting and for me he has lost all credability. I hope that the majority of people will not now vote for his acts! He is just so smug it is unbelievable!

What is wrong with Simon this year, he is a total idiot. This is the death of X factor for me!

I have never felt so enraged at a tv programme ever!

Simon Cowell has slagged Jedward off for weeks and told them that they cant sing, dance or perform!
Then on numerous occasions when he has the oppourtunity to get rid of them he decides to put it to the public vote and then use US (the public) to justify HIS decision!

Ive set up a new FB group to vent my spleen!

All the publicity in the papers is going to damage the whole programme, brand and ratings from now on!

The public are the ones who decided. Everyone is always complaining about the Judges decision on who to put through so it's been put the the public. If you didn't vote there isn't anything to get angry about.

I have to agree with you there! I have always loved watching the twins performances, they're thoroughly entertaining and if they get through without being in the bottom two then thats brilliant, well done to them. But when they're in the bottom two with a girl who can sing absoloutely fantastically, yet somehow stay in is ridiculous.

This is Simon Cowell's show, HE decides the format and if he keeps going to deadlock every week then why even have a judge's vote in the first place? Why does he not make it completely the public vote? But he has decided on the current format, so he should bloomin' well stick to it! Tonight was an utter disgrace! But it is not the twins' fault and I wish them the best of luck, I hope they dont suffer any backlash for something beyond their control.

The week that Cheryl took it to deadlock against Miss Frank and Danyl, Simon was furious and wanted a meeting straight after the show because it was one of his and Danyl was in the bottom 2.

If Simon is going to take it to deadlock all the time then he should realise that the judges vote should be taken away and then it will go to the normal vote!

Simon went up in my estimation...he put aside his dislike of John and Edward and made an impartial decision...how many other people could do that?...

im with you - he knows how the voting is going - He wrote Lucys sacked letter - but he let the public deliver the news....

end of the day public voted and not enough for Lucie end of story for me...

And the week Cheryl took it to the public vote I was actually pleased as if D had gone then so be it, but he was not in fact the bottom with the public.

Maybe a lesson learnt is we do not need the JUDGES VOTE as I hate it as acts have been saved who were the bottom with the public, why should I pay for Simon et al to play god with my money...

IMPARTIAL? He said he would judge it on the sing-off and, in the sing-off, Lucie wiped the floor with those two clowns. They were completely out of tune and how anyone can defend off-key singing is beyond me.

Putting it to the public vote is the fairest thing to do.

Even although Lucie is far better than the twins, she just didn't get enough public support, and that isn't Simons Cowells fault.

DANYL is off key every week and as for Jamie and Stacey.Lyod has never sung in tune yet.I would have more sympathy, if there had been the same uproar last week.Rachel was the best female singer in the show.
I think people are furious that the twins stayed not that Luci went.BTW being poor singers does not make people idiots.

Unfortunately it will bring publicity to the programme which is what SC wants. Free publicity at that .

If they start to talk about Lucie it will be even more publicity for her too so that is postitive too.

From the business perspective SC is not a joke he knows what he wants and I think he has already mentioned that he wants Olly and Danyl to win.

J&E are not to blame about anything. All they did was sing this evening and then SC chose to go to the public vote.

I agree Lucie had a good voice however her fans did notvote for her in sufficient numbers to keep her in the show.

J&E cannot do anything about it as can non of the other acts it is fundamentally the public that either vote or do not vote for an act that is all..

As I said in a similar thread - this series I've just been loosing all respect for him. He and the show has lost any remaining credibility they had IMO, it's just a farcical circus.

I'm almost wishing Lloyd would win now and he ends up with the lame duck winner he so richly deserves.

Lucie didn't need them, or use them.

They only got into the finals because they're Irish.
(The three acts Walsh rejected were better than them)

Unless Lucie is returned to the 'contest', my wife and I will never watch it again.
