Imitating "Dagenham Stace" is the KISS OF DEATH

First rachel decided to drop her "fierce" persona and inexplicably started babbling like "Daghenam Stace" and she got the chop, then Lucie dropped the "little Welsh village" act and started doing a Stacy and she lost favour with the public too.

Could this be leading to the ousting of the queen bee Stacey next week, or are the public getting rid of the imitators as a sign of support for the original?

I see what you're saying, but, I think it's more a coincidence tbh.

Lucie shouldn't have even been in the bottom two this week. But, as every's saying, she got the least votes, hence why she's gone.

Rachel actually was safe the week she did it.

Lets hope next week Lloyd or Geordie Joe (aka the black hole of charisma) start saying "oh my gosh" in an insipid essex accent in order to seal their fate.

Maybe they spend too much time together and pick up each others mannerisms - I have seen it before.

I'm annoyed with myself, as I was going to vote for her but thought she would be certain to be safe this week. Wonder how many others thought that.

Were the 3 girls close in the house?

A thought came to me earlier, what if Stacey in an innocent, joking, light hearted way messed about and said act a bit thick like me (you can just imagine her saying that about herself) and the public will love you.

I can't see why two seemingly intelligent girls would choose to adopt a dippy persona even for a minute. I've tried putting it down to excitement but it doesn't add up with them as people.

Interesting comment. You're probably right. She's so good, and I hope she'll be a success in the future.

Lucie will be forgotten in a few weeks. Theres tons of more talented, less nasal singers than her, shes a dime a dozen and nothing outstanding. But why ANYONE would want to mimic the incredibly annoying "Stace" is beyond me.

Speaking of 'Kisses of death', pretty sure Louis predicted that she'd be the last girl standing....

Lol@ black hole of charisma! So awful, yet so true. If he wins I predict another Leon situation. I think Lloyd has an ok voice, it's just Cheryl " I do love me little brother Joe" giving him awful stupid songs he can't sing. But in honesty, please send them both away from my tv screen.

A very good point. Me and my sister both looked at each other last night when Lucie did her Stacey impression and said "not again!"

And there's no doubt in my mind that Rachel decided to give it a go, thinking she would have a better chance if she babbled like Stacey, and Lucie did the same thing. She even did the little gaspy breathing thing.
