Face it mate, the joke is well and truly over.
It only worked with the public and tabloids when they were sailing through as everyone thought they were in on a great joke,that they might get one over on Simon and Jedward had a massive fan base.

That could be for any number of reasons. Danyl was in the bottom two a couple of weeks ago. Jedward won't be in the bottom two next week. JLS were in the bottom two and now they're number one. But Jedward have been dominating the headlines more than any other - they sell papers because people want to read about them. They trended Twitter hours before tonight's show because people want to TALK about them.
