After two hours or so, how are we all feeling?
I've kind of calmed down now at the shock result tonight. I'm actually trying to come to terms with how much I enjoy Jedward's performances and that they don't have terrible voices when they actually try. I am however really sad that I won't be seeing any more performances from Lucie. She was really beginning to shine in the competition.
Best of luck to Jedward next week, whatever happens will happen and let's try and enjoy the show. |

I am still on cloud 9 and I can't wait to watch John and Edward's performance again a 1000 times on youtube...the best result in X Factor history...

I feel sorry for both, Both the twins are gonna probably face a bit of abuse and it is no way their fault
But Lucie was my second favourite I am gutted for her she does not deserve to be going home tonight, I do feel Simon has just lost a lot of credibility and a lot of respect from some |

I've only just watched it and I'm feeling fine about the decision. I think it was the right one. Team Lucie messed up with a dreadful song choice on Saturday -- only themselves to blame -- and in the sing-off the twins were much more entertaining than dreary old Lucie. I agree with Cowell: I'd rather see the twins again.

I've been having the time of my life on here all day to be honest.
It all started when I was nervous and worried for my fave, Danyl, this morning, and my hubby said "get a grip sweetheart, its only showbusiness". And I realised. Its really silly to get all het up over stuff. Even the Anti Danyls have not spoiled my mood today. I took it seriously for 5 minutes when Lucie went, because I really quite liked her. But another will go next week, and really, whats the point in having a stress? I am thoroughly enjoying myself

I still think it is a disgrace that after all the things Simon has said about Jedward that he went to deadlock.
I actually don't dislike the twins. I did the first few weeks but now I feel a bit sorry for them. They just go out there and give it their best efforts. It's not their fault they got put through and they do the best they can and they do entertain. I thought Ghostbusters was hilarious! But Simon was just being a wind up merchant as usual. It's not fair on the contestants. |

Soon as Olly was through, I was fine. Knew Jedward would stay when it went to deadlock...so its all good.

Quite happy really i had £5 on Lucie or Stacey to go out at 25/1. So got back £130 off a £10 stake. Happy Days.

It's all good. Still nursing a sore throat. It seems to be going around at the moment, but have the week off work anyway
![]() Weather's looking decent tomorrow too, may go out for a jog if I'm feeling good. You want to continue Dr Phil?

Relieved to see Jedward still in the competition and they could even easily avoid bottom 2 next week.
Very disappointed Lucie went ; she was probably my favourite soloist. |

I'm now thinking I'm quite glad that J&E went through as I do think that Lucie would never of won and probably feel more excited about seeing J&E perform. I now just want them to go through over one of Simons acts, that may seem bitter to some but I'm only rooting for one of his acts so not too bothered about the other two. Just want to see his reaction really.

My favourites have gone through but I find it hard to be that excited about it. I am very concerned about Jedward.

Still totally buzzing at the result.
So relieved the show won't be totally dull as dishwater for at least one more week! |

Still pissed off at Cowell's cowardice. Is he going to take the vote to deadlock every week? If he is they'd be as well not asking the other judges who they want to send home. It'd save so much time every week if there was no sing off and the result was based solely on the Saturday night performance.

Still disappointed.
Not with the result as such - I accept that having a fanbase is the key to winning the competition. Sometimes the public don't always choose the most talented. But I'm disappointed with Cowell's lack of b@lls. Choose Jedward or choose Lucie, but ffs CHOOSE. |

I'm fine. I doubt I'll even notice the fact Lucie has gone and my son loves J&E so was delighted they go through.
