Sinitta has claimed that people do not give X Factor hopefuls John & Edward enough credit.

The singer also said that judge Simon Cowell wishes that he was their mentor instead of Louis Walsh.

"Nobody can meet the twins and hate them," Sinitta told People. "They don't have an evil bone. Simon says they are like two labradors, but actually they are like two overgrown leprechauns.

"They bounce around the studios and get excited about everything. They're brilliant to have around. John and Edward sing and dance every week and that's not easy. People need to give them credit for this."

Sinitta also stated that Cowell would miss the brothers if they were voted off the programme.

"They are great for the show," she said. "We joke he wishes they were in his group. At least, it started as a joke but now it seems serious. He really wishes they were.

"If they don't win the show, they will do well. I predict kids' TV for them."

John & Edward survived Sunday's X Factor results show when Lucie Jones lost the public vote after Cowell's backing of the twins took the decision to deadlock.

I agree with what Sinitta, aged 25, is saying. The Twins are more marketable than any of the other acts.
