Does anyone know if she is coming back for Syed's wedding? I think it would be great if she did and, afterall, she is his sister

No, she isn't coming back

The actress quit EastEnders because she was fed up with having very few storylines. Within a few months of her departure, the Masood family suddenly fell under the spotlight!

Thats true, but that doesn't mean she won't come back or even be invited back.

Patsy Palmer quit the soap and afterwards said she would never dream of ever working on EE again, now she's been welcomed back with open arms

So there's always a chance the actress who played Shabnam will be asked back and I guess she would accept seeing as the Masoods are now one of the leading families in EE.

^patsy palmer played an iconic character that had a history with the show though..The women that played shabnam never really made her imprint..They will never ask her back, there is no need to because she will only be remembered as that girl that came with the masoods

ditto, in saying that I really dont see where she would fit in with the current dynamics of the masood family..She cant handle comedy and wasnt much of an actress (at least tamwar can handle one out the two) Sure she could be bezzies with amira but once the secret is out amira really has no future

They should definitely bring Shabnam back to complete the Masood family. The character never really had a single storyline during her time on the show so there is plenty they could do with her. After all there must have been something planned for her that never happened because the actress quit so soon,

However I think the role should definitely be recast to another actress. The original showed no loyalty to the show and doesn’t deserve to be asked back, there are plenty of capable and talented actresses who love to work on a show like EastEnders.
