If Jedward....
If Jedward had gone as a result of Simon taking it to the public vote, I wonder if there would have been the same uproar?

Definitely not...the uproar is just a load of Lucie fans coming to terms with the loss of their idol...the wind will blow over in a week...

Probably not,and yet the show next Saturday would seem very flat without them.

The uproar may not have been so great but I am sure the forum would still be buzzing about Simon voting to SAVE them, even if they did go.

Apparantly a lot of younger kids love John and Edward. There was a piece on gmtv yesterday morning showing lots of kids say they love them, etc. I should imagine there are a lot of kids everywhere routing for them.
It made me wonder if all these children are kind of expecting a John and Edward christmas record? As kids tend to like things now, rather than later. If they had got booted out there would be a whole barrage of unhappy children out there who don't really have a voice as they can't vote, and can't write in forums who might be upset their heros got booted.. |

If that had happened a lot of people would say that he knew they were bottom anyway and only saved them for the drama.
The fact that he probably knew Lucie was bottom in the votes is why the decision he made is so controversial. |

If Jedward have polled the least votes than Simon would have persuaded Cheryl to send home the twins somehow and then Simon would have refused to vote making his vote invalid sending Lucie home

I doubt it as it's the outcome many would have expected.
What I wonder is whether the hue and cry would be so loud if it was Lloyd going home instead of Lucie? |

Quote:
Lloyd against Rachel was different, she was bottom two three out of four times! If it is Lloyd and the twins on Sunday I fully expect Lloyd to go home. |
