Dannii is becoming a sore loser

Dannii seemd very bitter on the Xtra Factor last night by suggesting that the contestants should all just do rap next week instead of singing.

And you felt you needed to make a new thread about this when there was already one discussion the topic in question

Where? Dannii was annoying last night, she said it three times. I like her as a judge very much but if the public don't vote for her acts then she needs to figure out why not insult the voters.

Actually no. I think she has been very fair this year.

A simple search and you would have found the thread.

Im assuming your leaving out bits of the Xtra factor to suit your thread?
You didn't see Dannii talking to the boys and saying how much hard work they put in etc.

She came off graciously and professional in my opinion when a lot of people would have gone crazy in the situation.

She handled it a lot more graciously than Cheryl did and Simon would have.

I thought she was bang on - how did you expect her to react, her strongest act went up against a joke and Simon Coward picked the joke

I think Dannii s reaction was completely normal.
She was really sweet on Xtra Factor with the others.

Bit desperate if that is the best you can come up with. How dare she be annoyed at one of the better singers leaving over the non-singers, Did you start a thread over Cheryl's comments to Jedward when Rikki left as she was far more direct?

OP - there has been more than the one thread on Dannii's reaction. And as mentioned on one particular thread, you probably missed the parts where she hugged and kissed the twins after the result and when Lucie was interviewed on Xtra factor were they both stressed it was nothing personal against the Twins.

Where did she insult the viewers? Her comments were more a dig at Simon than Jedward or the public.

I don't think Dannii was that bitter last night but even if she were, she had every right to be after that shambles of a result. Still she was very polite to Jedward at the end of the show. I don't know if you saw that.

I think Simon and Cheryl woul;d have been a whole lot worse had it happened to one of thier own.

She's entitled to be annoyed, imo.
This is the 2nd week running that one of her acts has been at the receiving end of Simon's tactics.
Last week he bottled out of sending Lloyd home, so as not to upset Cheryl, and last night he opted to keep in the worst singers in the competition so as not to jeopardise viewing figures.
I'll be surprised if Dannii is back next year.

Ah, but mentioning that would have undermined the point of the thread.

Doesn't surprise me when Jedward fans try to call the opposing judge a sore loser. Come on, get real.

Dannii is too good for this show anyway. She is the only judge who is honest, fair, objective and constructive.

The rest are too inconsistant but Simon, my once favourite judge, is now a shadow of his former self.

She did exactly that. As you said:

She was saying that if that's what puts them through, then that's what she should do...

I think she is more involved with her acts from the start so knows them as people and personalities therefore takes it harder when they fall. She feels their pain. The others, particularly Simon sees them as cannon fodder - there for entertainment and cash cows for his benefit!

Funny thread. Nothing bitter about it, she tells the truth.

Rapping or singing out of tune should work

dannii is the most dignified judge out of the 4, could you imagine if that was cheryl with one of her 'boys'
I wouldnt be surprised if ms minogue doesnt return next year because this year doesnt seem to be a signing competition for some acts

She had every right imo, jedward may be good entertainment but thats what Britain's Got Talent is for. The judges have been saying for weeks that good singers are going because people were'nt voting right. The one week they do and the judge who is supposed to have the most credibility votes to keep Jedward in, i mean its unbelievable.

Had it been me i'd have been a lot less calm than Dannii, she carried herself with dignity and respect and doesn't deserve to be called a sore loser.

Simon did it in spite, though. I'm not expecting to see Danni back next year. The way he looks at her in contempt on the Xtra factor speaks volumes.

Danni just seemed deflated and confused.

At what point are the judges and the studio audience allowed to react. It seems from reading some comments that no amount of protest is to be permitted.

If the twins managed to remain in the competition to the end, even to win, and that may not involve a truly widespread popularity but instead be due to multiple votes to get one over on Cowell and send the show up, then is everyone really supposed to smile sweetly as all the singers leave a singing contest until the winners are announced as two people who cannot sing?
