Angela and Friends Sky 1

Don't think i have seen anything on this new chat show yet apart from the trailers but looks worth a watch. Seems to be similar to loose women and have panels of guests and lots of discussion topics, celeb news etc..starts 2pm so only for day time viewers

I haven't seen it yet. But I do know I'm getting really annoyed by her constant adverts...

Depends on what they're expecting.

I'm not sure why Sky1 are bothering with daytime tbh.

I found the show quite refreshing from the likes of P O'Grady, The A Titchmarsh Show etc.

Its a shame it wasn't picked up by Five - definitely beats Live from Studio Five in terms of quality and variety.

Wish Angela and CrackIt Productions all the best for this show!

yeah I thought it was good and I like the fact that it is quite lively and has a lot of online involvement as well. so you can use the website a bit like an ezine as well as the TV show.

I really enjoyed it but I am a sucker for daytime TV and a very big Sara Cox fan. Really like the Big 4 debates, I have already given my 2pence worth this morning on todays topics on the website.

looking forward to special guest Shaggy today too. *Mr Loverlover*

I haven't seen it yet as I've Sky + it - I used too watch Loose women so assuming it's similar it should have a good following. I think Angela's a good choice as she's a breath of fresh air (unlike some of the miseries in LW!)
I love Shaggy though...makes me think of of a text I received of him ordering a taxi...hilarious.....can't stop singing it to myself

Martina Cole

It got 35k not bad considering its on daytime and subscription only

Most people would be working or listening to the radio so it did good...i hope sky gives it time to develop...Zoe Salmon is appearing as a friend!

haha it seems to be the done thing in a lot of families/relationships. Mind you, boys pants aren't exactly exciting are they, there's not a lot of choice involved!

Loved today's episode, Martina Cole is great.

I am honestly not having a pop but I simply cannot understand how anybody is "really looking forward" to a show like this. It's hardly going to be a surprise?

All on the guests I suppose, though when the guests hear there are only 35,000 viewers I think they may think twice about giving up their time. Kind of a double edged sword with Chat shows isn't it.....if you have good ratings you get good guests and vice versa..admittedly tough to start out on a channel like sky One on weekday afternoons....just ask Richard and Judy.

In my opinion the difference being that Richard and Judy are rubbish whereas Angela Griffin and her chat show are quite good. Simples!!

I was never a big fan of Angela Griffin but I watched this out of curiosity. Part of the discussion today/yesterday was about competitiveness. Did I hear her say that her own competitiveness is the reason why she's where she is today? Sounds as though she really rates herself.
