Dannii is on verge of losing Stacey.......

Dannii is on the verge on losing Stacey next week UNLESS she gives her a powerful song.

The song choices for Stacey have been criminal.
She has such a powerful voice but the songs she has been given are slow and boring

Agree?

I dont rate staceys vocals really, shes nothing special. Rachel or Lucie was Dannis best bet vocally, if she looses stacey soon i wonder if she'll quit before the end of the comp as shes been pretty much shafted throughout this comp.

Stacey isn't going anywhere.

She was on first on Saturday, sang pretty averagly and still got through...she clearly has a fanbase.

I agree, i've not been impressed with any of the girls this year. IMO they've all underachieved so i'm not at all surprised that there is only one left! I had high hopes for Stacey but now i'm just bored of her and don't look forward to her performances like i thought i would.

It's up to Cowell whether she goes or not isn't it?

I think she will struggle with a powerful song, thats part of the problem with this show if they don't sing good ballads then they're no good. Her strongest point is her personality so she needs to come out and do something fun that shows this off.

She gets my vote every week
i live in Romford which isnt far from cornbeef city where she comes from.

i just feel the song choices are stifling her.
she has a lot more in her locker and unless she gets a song we wont see it.

Danni is much more professional and gracious than that.

I disagree. Stacey is the only girl left in the competition. Even if she is in the bottom two, it's highly unlikely that she will be sent home. That would leave an all-male competition and make Dannii redundant at far too early a stage. I can't see them allowing that.

I don't necessarily agree that an all-male show is farcical, but I am pretty certain that the programme-makers will not have it - not at this stage anyway.

I think it would be daft to give Stacey a challenging song ... her voice simply isn't up to it.

I like her well enough, but she's not a great singer.

If Stacey does go next week or whenever it is, I'll be interested to see Dannii's hair. When Rachel went, didn't she have that bouffant type hair do, to make it look similar to Rachel's?
I was just watching the sunday show again, and Dannii went and hugged Lucie at the end, and their hair was dyed exactly the same colour.

I don't think she's going anywhere. Although they've been talking about how strange the vote is this year, it seems pretty standard to me - the front runners get on with things and the also-rans jostle for best finishing position. The only person I've been surprised about was Danyl, and that's only because they keep telling us how amazing he is.

Stacey hasn't got the world's most amazing voice, but strongest voice does not the best popstar make. I think she'd sound good on radio, even if I'm not into her live performances as much as I could be.

Same with Lloyd actually. Little stage presence, not great live, but would sound great on the radio. Olly on the other hand is probably the opposite.

Agreed, and in the case of Rachel I was pretty bummed about it as she was an early fave of mine.

All of that 'why aren't people backing Rachel' talk on the show, and I was thinking 'because she was rubbish for the first two weeks!'

I feel sorry for her as people hae lead her to believe she is better than she is, and as we all know if she won it would be because of her stupid act
Seems that Britain is in love with stupid girls, i.e Jade, that Sohie who won BB, Cheryl Cole etc .

I don't want to see Stacey in the bottom two but there is a part of me that would like to see her in the bottom two with Danyl because they wouldn't dare send the last girl home before even the top 3 never mind the top 5. No offence to Danyl but it would really stick it to some people.

That's the Next Eviction - she's 3rd least likely to go according to the bookies.

Here's the Winners odds - she 4th currently

A certain demographic likes stupid girls (girls themselves) because they are non-threatening and when they witter on like a cretin they find it endearing.

Stacey has limitiations and the only way she can overcome them is with her personality. Other then that if she has to walk and sing at the same time she has problems. I am not saying she is special needs but she has learning difficulties.

Stacey is good, and I like her. But she needs to shine now - I have found her pretty stagnant, whilst still thinking she is in with a chance to win.

I don't know which Queen song she will end up doing, and I have no idea what might be best - but she SHOULD be on towards the end of the show if not at the end, so as long as she does well she will be fine this week.

I can actually see her in the final.

The truth of the matter is, we have no idea how the voting has been going, unless we believe the leaks, but as they are not official, I would prefer to err on the side of safety.

In reality, not a single act is completely out of danger of being in the bottom 2 and going home. So if you have a favourite, and you are a voter, don't be complacent or vote for someone else to so called "spite" Simon or any of the judges.

I will continue to vote for Danyl and/or Olly each week if I keep liking their performances whether I think they are safe or not. Because, lets face it, no-one is safe.

Dannii needs to think outside the box with Stacey. She has a lovely tone to her voice but she is not the big power ballad type singer that is so popular today.

I guess most of you won't know who I'm talking about if I say she reminds me of a singer called Mary Hopkins who was popular in the late 60's. Trouble is I cannot think of
contemporary songs to suit this style of singing. Maybe it might be worth gambling on taking Stacey down the retro route. It would certainly make her different to any other female contestants we have seen to date.

I think Stacey is safe for the time being for no other reason than she is the last girl standing but, as things stand, I think she will struggle to make it further than the semis.

Not exactly putting your money where your mouth is, are you Mr Blonde, unless you live in a sewer......The kid's 3/1 to go, so your £25 will only win you £75, hardly ecstacy stuff, unless it's Savers Beans for tea most nights at Blonde Towers...

If you have such confidence, get the piggy bank smashed sweetheart & at least try to bet like a man.

I think one of Simon's will go this week, as a matter of fact, I think both Danyl and Afro will be in the bottom two. Stacey should go onto the final with Danyl (If he doesn't go this week) and Joe IMO. I've had her from the auditions to win it.
