European Top 44 Airplay Chart
According to its web site, the syndicated show is aimed to FM stations ( no to online stations).
Quote:
Does anybody know on what more stations, all over Europe, the show is given?. Thanks. |

Top 44?
It's completely random and bonkers to have a top 44! Assuming this is syndicated on commercial stations, they'd have to have the show on for about 4 hours, unless it's like Radio 1's Chart and several tracks are missed, and/or the tracks that are played at cut short. I see it's based on airplay. Well then that makes it a bit pointless imo, for a real chart at least. I'll guarantee that no commercial station in the UK ever takes this programme. Why? Well if the data comes from nearly 40 European countries, and it's based on air play only, there's bound to be a few tracks in there that are not sung in English. 99.9% of music on UK radio is sung in English - otherwise they won't play it, especially if it's not selling in the UK chart, or was a previous hit in the UK Chart. It might be syndicated on a few stations in mainland Europe, but it'll never cut the mustard here. |

Well, I did not link the web site.
The show is 4 hours long and , at least the top 10 ( which the web site shows suits the UK radio market) Quote:
Yes, that thing of Top 44 is weird. There is a chart show on a Spanish Dance Radio Station ( Máxima FM) which is that weird, too. Máxima 51 Chart |

Have you heard about The eXpat Chart. That's broadcast on 22 stations across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
It's the Top 40 played on english language radio. www.expatchart.com is the website. |
