CSI Miami, CSI NY & CSI triple crossover

Title says it all really. First ever crossover that has involved all 3 CSI franchise starts tonight in the US. Miami kicks it off, then NY on Wednesday and finally Vegas finishes the triple bill on Thursday.

could be good - obviously I imagine a DVD release at a later date but it'll be interesting to see who crosses over. Will they just have H, Mac and maybe Langston as the heavyweights ?

*edit

I've just read the plotline and I know what's going on - sounds good though.

Will be a nightmare for Five when they show it. They tend to show a new season of say CSI from start to finish then start Miami and then NY. Will be a nightmare for the schedulars unless they do a special triple bill along with Five USA to show the trilogy.
Pity we'll never get a quadruple bill including WAT.

Will be interesting how Five handle it because unlike in the States, Miami airs after CSI and CSI: NY so unless they save the crossover for a later date which they did before with a CSI: Miami/CSI: NY crossover or they air the crossover as a three part event which would bring in high ratings.

I am wondering how C5 will handle this ? Considering that we get CSI & CSI-NY in January and we dont get CSI Miami until they finish which is around May/June time ? Or will they do this as a one off special ? This would be a great xmas special wouldnt it ?

yes I wonder what Five plan to do as well

the fact it starts on Miami does not help matters as its Miami they keep for the Summer, I tend to think they should just bite the bullet, and show the Miami episode early, and try to show all 3 across a few days, obviously they are going to need to schedule CSI & CSI NY to start the right week, but this wont be too complicated, if they need to wait a week to start the series airing a repeat will do well enough.

BTW its Ray who is going to be on all 3 shows.

I hope they dont make us wait until CSI Miami airs on Five, and skip the episodes of CSI & CSI NY

I'm not watching Miami(gave up last year because it's so bad) or NY(will wait for it on DVD over here). To show mid season eps from those two may spoil the previous eps for people who follow them at Five UK pace. NY ended on a huge cliffhanger last season in the UK.

I knew there was a reason I avoided CSI threads usually ...

Five should just save the NY and LV episodes and then show them all in one week TUES/WEDS/THURS next september... it makes more sense for people to wait for the ny/lv episodes then show the Miami one early and ruin it!

Just finished watching all 3 eps. All in all they work very well as a 2hr special. The Miami part was only slightly cringeworthy. It's as if they realised they were working with a proper movie star and had to at least attempt to act.
The NY crew performed well and the Vegas mob were superb as usual. The overall story arc held up very well and it turned out to be a gripping crime thriller in the end. Even if you've given up on Miami and/or NY then I would recommend you watch this trilogy. Definitely among the high points of the whole franchise. Also I think CSI Vegas has finally come to terms with the loss of Grissom.

I would love to see it air over Christmas on Five, I know its very unlikely, given that all 3 shows would be out of sync, but I would love to see it happen.

It is maybe the only schedule that could tempt me away from BBC One on christmas day
