Declan and Kate in Neighbours

Would Declan and Kate be good together and as a couple in Neighbours. I think they will be.

Well, they're both pretty - but I wish Declan could find someone more normal and less angsty.

Yeh, I think they'll be great I do see them gettung together eventually. There's more chemistry between them in a few scenes than there ever was between him and his wifey

I think they should, if only to reward him for the nightmare he had to put up with for the last year. He deserves it.

I have to say i see no chemistry what so ever with them i think he has more chemistry with Donna i think they would make a great couple they have been have more scenes in oz and their chemistry really shows unlike Kate and Declan who have zero.I think Declan and Bridget had such amazing chemistry which won't be matched it was the best on the show along with Karl and Susan of course which is why Bridget and Declan were one of the shows golden couples as has been said by the producers and the writers of the show.

Surely this comment is a joke?

Bridget and Declan were so mismatched I dont know where to start. I always found it hard to believe he'd even look twice at her, after all she looked like a 13 year old boy. They had little chemistry and always bored people as a couple, even though it was obvious the audiece were supposed to be rooting for them.

You only have to look at how many people on this and other forum's disliked Bridget as a character and rejoiced when she finally snuffed it to know how unpopular she was. I actually cheered when she died. An awful character played by an awful, whiney actress. I dont know why she and her hideous family got so many storylines.

the Karl and Susan?! No one has their chemistry. Especially not anyone with Bridget.

I wonder if DeKat are the couple who
spoiler:
are the mystery couple, who are surprised to discover they are about to become parents. Either that or Ringo & Donna. It's just I noticed this as a spoiler in the Inside Soap 2009 year book. But it didn't give any obvious clues as to who the expectant couple was.

Hmmm . . . . I wonder . . . .

re: that spoiler

spoiler:
Please god, don't let it be The Donna and bloody Ringo. He's not fit to breathe the same air as her and is useless in every way.

I'm sure I read somewhere a while back that,

spoiler:
Rebecca discovered she was pregnant. Can't remember where I read it but it was a few months back. Anyone shed any light.

No doubt we'll have the old "kiss" then Declyn running off crying bcause hes betrayed "bridget" then after a week it'll all be forgotten and they'll be stuck in a love triangle.

In Soapland you have to be 13-18 or 40-60 to get pregnant. Other age groups aren't worth a plot !

The thing that annoys me about that is you can have underage sex which is illegal yet you can't have a serious gay relationship on soapland. Because the conservatives don't like it.

Why make Donna bisexual if she's not even going to show that side of her?

I thought they would be a couple ever since the episode when Bridget had gone on the trip and they started talking. I'm not sure if they would be good though

That's what I thought too - I just thought it a little spooky they were giving each other longing looks in Harolds' cafe only moments after Declan had waved the Parkers off on their road trip to Oakey.

i heard that aswell although it was right back at the start of the year. i heard she was going to fall pregnant and it would be a whos the daddy storyline between Paul and her then boyfriend the head teacher. but that never happened

They do get on but I don't think there's an instant couple chemistry, more like friend, they both bond over their parent role. But it could always grow into something more. They are quite well suited.

Seeing as its a year book I think it probably relates to Bridget and Dec.

I like them together but at the moment, staying as friends is much better. I hate it when soaps rush romantic storylines.

Neighbours is famous fo it!! Two kids only have to go out a couple of times, and they are declaring their undying love for each other.
