Modern Warfare 2 Trophies Glitched?? - Sony PlayStations and PSP

I assume its a bit early to be asking for help on this but has anyone else been playing MW2 and had problems with the trophies??
Im on the very last single player mission but the trophies past "Royale With Cheese" will not unlock. Any ideas guys? Anyone else having similar issues?

They might have put a lock on because its not officially been released? Who knows.

Played SP this morning and was getting trophies as normal.

However spoke to a friend not long ago who said he wasn't showing any trophies as yet (he was on Cliffhanger). Could just be him being dim and it not having synched though

Possible theyve blocked them... Unlikely but possible I guess.. Strange how I've unlocked 12% of the trophies but it refuses to unlock any others see. Hmmm.

Wizross - I had to restart the game several times before the trophy list would appear in my collection and for a while it unlocked them fine. Now theres no chance. Shame, means I'm going to have to play through this diabolical game again

Ive tried deleting the game data and reinstalling. See how that goes now...

The trophies have been unlocking for me but I'm getting an error when I try to sync my profile.

Hmmm something my end then? Guess the next step is to delete the save game and start again... Shame, I just completed the damn game!

Hey Ez mate

I thought the story was brilliant and continued well from the last. The twists were excellent and for the most part very unexpected. I agree, I'd be hard pushed to pick a favourite! It was all over too quickly for me though

And without giving much away I'd say an MW3 is almost a cert...
Looking forward to trying the Special Ops Co-op and Multiplayer when more people get the game. From the few games I've managed to get I'd say its a definite improvement over CoD4. I also like how it tells you how many games are available, how many players are online in each game mode etc... Theyve made very few major changes (higher ranks before prestige, more XP per kill\objective etc) but IMO the changes they have made have all been for the better. No complaints yet. At the moment I feel this could replace CoD4 once I've gotten used to the maps etc.

On PS3 do we have more friends options ??

ie. Can we join a game rather than waiting patiently on an invite ??

I notice on the PSN ID it says what level people are playing on.

4's done with mate no going back after playing this, well maybe after they've fixed the poxy online.

Lyts I was loving online as you'll have seen in the hideout but can't get this funker working and on top of that the bloody trophies aren't unlocking for me either, so far 3 are missing so I'm gonna have to stop as it's my second playthrough ( can't get online) and was going veteran but that's out the window if the trophies aren't going to unlock. Finished act 1 veteran and have trophies luckily. Trophies missing are takedown (any level), royale with cheese (any level) and 10 plus kills with predator.

What you don't realise is that IW will be releasing DLC which will give you access to those blocked trophies. It will cost £10, plus another £15 for whatever reason Activision thinks up.

dudes i can't see any MW2 trophies on your trophy collections or when i go to 'compare trophies'
logic would tell you thats because i don't have the game (yet)

but that shouldn't matter unless IW do have something planned

That'll be to me not having synced up wrapps they won't show till I do, dunno about lyts though.

Yes, if there's room in the party you can just click Join Session from the XMB and join in.

You also know if the player is in a game or the lobby too

Something dodgy has been going all evening and it's not just for people with Modern Warfare 2.

I was playing Eat Lead for a few hours and when I'd finished I could not look at my trophies or anyone elses. The sync kept getting stuck at 83% and then coming up with an error.

My mate says the exact thing was also happening to him.

Hmm thats odd mate, I religiously sync my trophies for fear of the PS3 dying...
You should still see them regardless of whether you have the game or not. Theyll just appear at the bottom of your list when you compare.
To be honest Im just glad its not just me experiencing these trophy issues. Makes you wonder if they even bothered thoroughly QA'ing it.
Ezza, Im holding off on veteran for the time being too. I dont want to go to all that trouble just to have to do it again! I really do love the online on MW2, its just a shame its so hard to find a game at the moment. Roll on tomorrow night! I wasnt sure how I felt about them upping the ranks from 55 to 70 but I suppose it makes sense with more perks etc to unlock. Im just glad theyve upped the XP you get per kill\objective by contrast too or it would have taken even bloody longer to prestige! Also love that you get bonus XP for getting a kill after you've died several times

Bitter sweet I guess lol

Not sure about trophies but the matchmaking seems a lot better now than this (well, yesterday) afternoon.

Hopefully everything will be sorted for release day - after the 'brief' PSN maintenance

Tropies have been opening fine for me so far, although I have only played the first mission.

It also downloaded a patch this morning, dont know if that was available yesterday, maybe fixed the problem?

Did you all download the 1.01 patch? I believe it might have only been released at midnight? If you already started playing before downloadig the patch you will probably have to start a new game save!
