Ah that theme would explain why Vanilla Ice was said to be another possibilty for the boys.

Ice Ice Baby has Under Pressure in the background doesn't it.

What, the theme?

It's going to be tough for a lot of them, isn't it?

Yeah, I meant the theme. I can't see that many of them will be able to do well with Queen songs

I can see Olly doing Don't Stop Me Now?

Jamie doing I Want It All?

Danyl doing Bohemian Rhapsody?

Joe doing I Want To Break Free?

Lloyd - ???????

Stacey doing These Are the Days of Our Lives?

J&E - Radio Gaga by the sounds of it.

I've probably chosen rubbish ones haha.

Some suggestions - please do not take seriously....

i would have thought that Danyl would try to get Somebody to Love....he could prance around looking as if he is in pain.

The t-wins - Flash god knows what they will dress up in

Whilst Queen have quite a catalogue, the song choice also depends on which mentor gets first/second choice etc so there might be a brawl if there is a fav song and they dont get it.

A lot of potential for a very visual routine from John and Edward there ; the original video showed Queen travelling in a futuristic car and the backdrop featured scenes from the film Metropolis.

Isn't the X Factor supposed to be about finding a CURRENT popstar?

Queen are not current.

But the other six singers are the "real talent" this year and are amazingly versatile

Radio GaGa requires actual singing and no rapping, it's actually taking the twins out of their comfort zone

Yeah, they constantly tell Olly that he's doing too many retro songs. But where's the scope? If he does the McFly version of Don't Stop Me Now, they'll hammer him for cheating. If he does the old version, it's too retro. You can't be current with the themes.

Maybe Yvie got her way this week then? She did say she wanted to prove that they can sing.

Jamie - We are the Champions / Hammer to fall

Olly - These are the days of our lives

Joe - I want to break free (He sings like a girl so may as well dress like 1).

Lloyd - Killer Queen (Whatever hit he does will be a queen killer)

Stacey - A kind of magic

Danyl - Fat Bottomed people

Daniel should pick something that will showcase his strength of voice and vocal range, rather than picking the a mainstream "anthem".
Something like; Who Wants to Live Forever or Innuendo would give him a real chance to show of his talents without having to "Danielize" the song.

You know J&E are going to sing 3 coruses punctuated by brief rappy verses & there will inevitable be alot of dancers behind them clapping the "ga-ga" bit, no doubt getting the crowd drawn in & they will be reveared for giving a "performance"..even though they can't sing!!!
