William Shatner / Leonard Nimoy Clip: need help to find it please. - Advice

Sorry all to be a hell of a pain again. Have spent 2 hours looking through all sorts of non related clips, not finding what I'm looking for and wondering if anyone can help.

Shatner was at some sort of award 'do' for himself, I mean he was the guest of honour. Leonard Nimoy came out to the podium with a speech dedicated to Shatner. Initially it sort of came across as a joke, but it was seemed that Nimoy's words, and sarcastic tones were meant. Made for uncomfy viewing to a point but it was clear that there was bad blood between the pair of them.

If anyone can help with the clip, if this rings any bells, I'd be grateful for pointers in the right direction.

I don't think so Elke thanks for trying though. If memory serves me right, it was some small award gathering with all of the Star Trek crew and was hosted by a US talkshow or something. something in the back of my mind thinks it was a big birthday, or an anniversary of Star Trek . Hell this is really bugging me now.

Basically Nimoy came to the podium and got ripped into Shatner, to the point that Shatner was mortified. I'm still looking on you tube

Shatner's roast is the very thing I was looking for.

Perhaps you are confusing it with the Star Wars presentation when Shatner opened the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony for Star Wars creator George Lucas on June 9, 2005, beginning the segment with "Star Trek changed everything."

Lucas was very unamused by the episode.

I don't think that Nimoy is petty enough to participate in a vindictive type public spat with Shatner. Or vice-versa. Though both have taken the pee out of each other at various times.

I was going to mention the roast, but thought that it can't be that, as Nimoy wasn't there. Lol...

The only thing I can think you are thinking of is the TVLand Awards 2003 which was dedicated to Star Trek, presented by John Ritter and Leonard Nimoy did a roast to Shatner. However, reports suggest he was pretty kind to Shatner.
