Queen Week Confirmed

By Jamie on his facebook .

A bit odd with Shakira and The X Factor Finalists performing.

I hope someone does "Princes of the Universe", but I won't expect it.

It's going to be a difficult week - Freddie Mercury is an incomparable vocalist, so they're all going to struggle. I can only see one of them doing ok.

Looks like it's going to be Danyl's week then.

Even on their best days there isn't one of them who could even be quarter as good as Freddie on his worst days.

I'm a big Queen fan so I don't know if I'll be able to watch on Saturday because I feel quite protective of a lot of the classic tracks.

Hope my first post has made sense.

John & Edward should do "Flash Gordon"
With costumes, it would be epic!

From one big Queen fan to another, your first post made perfect sense.
As a Roy Orbison fan I was ashamed to see Afro man murder one of the greatest songs ever written with his dire rendition of 'Crying' but I hate to imagine what tripe they are going to come out with.
I am gonna have to watch it though, just for the sake of it.
It has to be said, every week Al Murray had PROFESSIONALS covering Queen songs, and only a tiny handful of those were any good.

Excellent. Queen should really push the contestants. Big band, big songs. A fine choice. Even the X Factor boycotters will be tuning in.

How strange. To hate Queen's music is to hate music itself

Poor, poor Lloyd - he's really going to struggle. I suppose he could do 'We will rock you' and try the back-flip again..

Come on...Queen are a British institution. They are the best rockers on the planet...but then they go the extra mile and bring versatility and charm to every song.

I shudder to think about Stacey's and Lloyd's efforts.
I cannot think of one track that either of them could tackle and the less said about the twins the better.
