Lucie is so gracious

what a lovely person!

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/xfactor/...-can-sing.html

she could have said nothing but defended them. The people who slate John and Edward for staying in the competition could take a leaf out of her book.

I wish Lucie was in the competition longer but I love John and Edward

I wanted Lucie to win, and still want her to do well. Someone should sign her up straight away and I would definitely buy her CD when it comes out. I can't say the same about a few of the others.

She's been very magnanimous in defeat as well as showing much common sense in not blaming John and Edward for her exit.

Lucie has behaved admirably. Her stock has soared on my books—I did not dislike her before but I had little sense of her as a person.

Dannii might have followed her example.

I love Lucie That's at least four times in 24 hours that she has defended the boys, and it shows what a lovely fair-minded girl she is to be sticking up for them when she has just left and could be wallowing in self-pity. What a good role-model. I hope she has a good career ahead of her.

She has come across so well and is one of the few contestants who seems to have a good outlook, in that it is only a competition and life goes on. She is obviously a clever, friendly girl and will be absolutely fine.

What a lovely, mature attitude.

Well done, Lucy....let's hope people listen to what you are saying about John and Edward and cut them some slack.

I wish you well for the furture.

I'll never be a fan of the boys as singers but since the live shows, Xtra Factor and some videos I've watched on the site they seem like nice guys. I am gutted Lucie is out of the competition and would prefer the twins out but her fans assumed she'd be safe while J+E obviously got more votes.
I won't say a bad word about them as they didn't drag Lucie in the bottom two and shove her out the door but part of me still thinks Simon is an arse although that goes back to last year when he put it to deadlock against Ruth and Girlband. But the only people that are to blame are the ones that never voted for her.
She's come across really well and I will miss her on the show but hopefully she'll have a long lasting successful career.

Lucie has gone up in my estimation since the weekend. I wouldn't blame her if she felt very bitter but she's not showing it if she does. She's been very kind about the twins when she could have absolutely blasted them.

Lucie has been dignified and gracious which is a credit to her. It must be gutting for your dreams to end against non singers

How original. Bringing up Mrs Spencer, as Johnny Lydon liked to call her. Such wit.

Lucie made less fuss about being voted out than at least two contestants have made about singing for survival and remaining in the competition. In her subsequent interviews she has been the one making the point that it's not the end of the world.

I personally didn't care for her as an entertainer. I'm glad the twins are still on the programme. But I give credit where due.

She strikes me as a truly nice person. Asides from saying she is obviously upset, she spends most of her time talking about how Jedward are just as talented as everyone else and deserve their place there.

She has taken her eviction a lot better than I have, and most of the voting public... (generalisations abound)

shame her fans are not as nice

they wont be happy until they have driven off screen the programme that gave her a chance
